I'm just about to start my PPI reclaim journey and I've found as many of my old accounts as I can but there are LOADS! I've had bank accounts/loans/credit cards/store cards/mortgages (joint ones with my ex, and one on my own) - you name it, I've had it. To get it all straight in my head I've started a spreadsheet listing the provider of each, along with any other info such as account numbers, dates, my address at the time etc. I've no idea whether or not I had PPI on any of these though.
What's the best way to play this? Should I write to each institution with these details asking if I've ever had PPI with them? Should I use the 'request for PPI info' letter that a previous poster wrote out? Should I go with The Claims Guys or Moneyback PPI (who only charge a 10% fee)? Or should I just use Revolver?
Just looking for a bit of guidance please, from those of you who've been through the process successfully.
