I took part in a paid study the other week which had 3 parts to it and gave me 3 x mastercard payments. One was £20, and the other 2 were £10 each.
I was able to spend the £20 one on amazon the other day but I'm having trouble with the 2 x £10 ones. When I check my balance, everything is as it should be but I tried to add one to ebay. It let me add it but it keeps coming up telling me I can't pay with it, I need to use a new card. The item with postage I'm trying to buy is £9.50 and the balance on the card is £10.
I'm just guessing ebay doesn't like mastercards for some reason. Has anyone ever received a mastercard via a study and has successfully been able to use it?
