Has anyone had any luck with People Per Hour?

I’m attempting to get into online editing/ proofreading in order to make some money from my skills in writing. I stumbled across People Per Hour, (even though I am not the biggest fan of the bidding for jobs format)
It seemed pretty decent and legit.

However, any job I’d be interested in doing on there appears to be saturated in bids (40+) meaning a very slim chance of getting it!

Has anyone had any luck on here?? Any tips of getting projects? Thanks!

Aye it’s generally a race to the bottom with sites like that. I think @StevenP15 may have had some luck

Hello!

For me, peopleperhour has been pretty good. I've had one order for $90 which after fees was about £68 and have had a few other people message me back about my proposals.

I agree with you when you say its saturated and often after a few minutes I see there have been several proposals already submitted.

I know that many people on that site write generic proposals so I try and create a new proposal for each one I apply to, meaning that I am being more responsive to the clients' needs. I would also suggest that you post your own offers - almost like you would do on fiverr, and people can then contact you rather than you sending a proposal.

Hope this helps!
