There are probably more ways but these were the ones I could remember when I made the list in October when I started working from home. They aren't all high earners. Some can be quite good. I made a fortune babysitting over the Christmas period. We Buy Books app is fab at car boots as I scan the code and if the books worth more than they want for it I'll buy it and send it in. Do all the surveys on my phone while my daughter has a social life.

My aim now I am comfortable with online work and have more time is to build up what I earn passively. So more designs on Teepublic, branch out to Amazon and Redbubble. More things onto Kindle, get both blogs so they're making me more. I keep on joking I want to be a millionaire by the time I'm 40. I've got 6 years so I plan to give that a good go!

I earn over £1000 a month now and don't include my matched betting in that. I do the following things:

Audio Typing -
Take Note £350-400 a month
Casting Words -£50ish
Crowdsurf - £50ish

Website Testing
Usertesting - £40ish
What Users Do - £25ish
Test Birds - £30ish
U Test - £30 ish
Other sites that do this include Intellizoom, Userzoom and Ping Pong

Phone Apps
Roamler - £200ish
Be My Eye - £75ish
Field Agent - £30ish
Curious Cat - £20ish
One Pulse - £15ish
Clickworker - £10ish
Other apps worth a look are Beelivery, Mobeye, iPoll, jobpotter, Shoppix, Receipt Hog Easyshift and You Gov.

I've also just started using Respondent. I can recommend People For Research as well. They are similar but UK based so pay in ££s. I've done a couple of things for them and got paid the next day.

I'm looking into teaching English online or tutoring as I have a TESL qualification and worked in a school for years. If you like dogs Tailster are good, I know a few people making a good income walking dogs now. If you don't already have a job then a lot of schools are looking for exam invigilators at the moment. It pays best in May/June but exams happen all year round. I stayed on at the school I used to work in as an invigilator and make £50 a month. Will probably make £250 in May and June.

Print to Demand seems to be quite good for a lot of people on here as well. I'm working on that as it's a passive income once the designs are uploaded.

I like the sound of audio typing, is it hard to get in to. I have a degree but a Science one and my typing skills are pretty good.

Hi Maisiemog,

Great post, in your opinion what are you top 10 works streams from the large list you have submitted. If you can just quote the numbers rather the have to write the whole list again if that’s easier for you.

I earn 90% of my income from Take Note, Roamler, Usertesting, Be My Eye and Casting Words and Crowdsurf. After that they're all pretty similar. I could get more out of others but I don't enjoy them as much. I like the mystery shopping ones too (MArket Force, Retail Active, Grassroots, Retail Maxim, ESA, Tern and Amber Arch) but they don't pay amazingly well. YOu do get some nice freebies though!

Now I'm established I'm definitely working towards a more passive income. I quite like the idea of earning money while I am sat doing nothing! Planning to publish on kindle, get affiliate sales on to the blog, get loads of designs on to teepublic and see what else there is that can earn me while I sleep.

Nope, really easy. I just did the tests for all the companies and started typing for the ones that wanted me. I have had a few rejections along the way but got accepted on enough to make a decent amount of money now. It does pay below minimum wage until you get used to it and speed up though. But I like that I can do it in my PJs and around my family.

How long do you spend on all of those things in a month roughly?

Since leaving my job I've given myself set hours. I work 9:30 - 3pm Mon, Tues, Thurs. 9:30 - 12pm on a Weds and a few hours on a Saturday morning. I also do 2-3 hours a couple of evenings a week so my husband can watch the sport or play his playstation without me moaning. I also have my phone with me whenever I go out, and if a task flashes up or I am sat doing nothing I'll use that for extra money.

Hey Maisiemog - I am in awe of your list and your commitment.

Do you have all the apps installed on your phone at one time - do they all notify you of available tasks? I installed BeMyEye and Roamler - but I think I must be a bit slow in responding, as the tasks always appear to be gone by the time I have been notified and open it up!

I got rejected by Take Note - I was really hopeful that one would come off!

When you sit down each day to start work - do you know exactly which tasks you are going to be doing, or do you visit each one to see what's available?

I feel that sometimes I am wasting more time looking for things rather than doing them ... I need to find a way to focus!

Any tips? :)
