Not sure where to post this, but thought it could be an idea for someone. I saw an advert for being a paid friend. There are a lot of older, lonely people out there and the idea was to visit them for a chat, give a bit of company and make a charge. You need to remember, as well, that not all elderly people are poor. Not for me this, but it might work for someone.

I've seen services like this for 'the older folk'. It's done via the telephone and helps make people who are old and lonely feel like they have a connection with someone
