I think everyone has already done this over the last few days. Lots of recipes being given at at the end.

Ahh fair enough lol haven’t really be active much and I have just seen the offer, did anyone get anything else other than a recipe or a £5 voucher? Quite interested to see what else was in them.

Someone got an Agony 8 Ball but I don't know what that is. I am not sure they did either.

There's already a thread further down the board and it recently got promo'd by email by the owner of this very site. (if you've got ad blockers on, there's a banner with Jon's referral code at the top of the page lol).

eta: the threads got merged, thought for a second I'd replied in the wrong place:)

Bit late to acting on the emails - I just got a voucher for £5 credit for Hiro products & services that don't actually exist yet.

TBH the whole jokey tone of their website and app make's whoever's running Hiro sound like a bunch/couple of slackers who know how to make an app or get an app made but are totally clueless on actually making any deals with actual insurance companies.

Trying to get a verification code via the email option just gets you an email saying they can't do that any longer because they got attacked by "script kiddies". (Apparently the early '00s term for wannabe hackers who can't code and just used rubbish scripts, now means 'bored people repeatedly signing up with different emails').

As well as no obvious way to delete your account from in the app, their welcome to Hiro email has no way of unsubscribing & can't be replied to. *smh*

They are part of Hero labs and have won multiple awards on that side of the business with Hiro insurance being their new venture

Jokey tone is wrongly or rightly the way a lot of fintech firms at going now from monzo to FreeAgent - they all want to come across as your financial friend!

Details on how to delete your account instead of just deleting the app are on their privacy page

Meanwhile on google play reviews. posted yesterday
"Clearly a referral scam, the app doesn't have any content, just asks for your details and then asks you to share to friends for a mystery box. It told me I got a £5 Amazon voucher, but there's no voucher code or way to redeem it. I fell for it, don't be like me. "

Well that person will have got their amazon voucher emailed to them within 72hrs like it says in the app if you get allocated one

It says I won a £10 credit for their website stuff. Does that mean I didn't win then?

Thank you to whoever used my referral today. Is there any way to gift Hiro credit perhaps? I don't need £25 credit of a product I have zero intention in using lol. Happy to gift it to whoever finds a way to do so.

Hey - I just tried this and it wouldn't let me sign up!

On my iPad I get an error message saying that I have entered an invalid phone number (I haven't)
On my iPhone simply nothing happens when I hit Submit

Any ideas? Thanks, Nick
OK -

Finally:
