$0.04 here.
It seems to have dropped off sharply on 10th December. Is Virgin Media a common factor or is this happening to everyone?

With BT myself so might not be related to ISP. Mine's picked up a little again, but nowhere near as much as before. Maybe a network issue on their end.

I've been running this for 4 days now and it has varied from nothing to $4 in a day.

From what I've read it depends on the amount of bandwidth they need each day.

It's very simple to install & setup and basically money for doing nothing

Use my referral code & we'll both get $5

Hi,

I asked Honeygain about the sudden decrease in earnings and they replied with the following:

"We’ve noticed a drop in traffic in a few locations, this was caused by a sudden inflow of new users, that found our app on the Apple AppStore. We’re working to introduce more traffic for the whole network and are looking into a more growth-proof solution to stop these frustrating traffic fluctuations. "

However, since the 17th December my earnings have jumped back up (Not quite to what they were before), but still averaging around $1 per day now.

I'm with Virgin Media - who do not filter or throttle traffic.

Mine has gone back up a bit, I'm at least able to withdraw now but I want to pile up a bit more before I do.

So after getting my first payout come through in only two days over Christmas and the speed going back up (seems to have been a Virgin issue) I'm definitely happy to recommend it. For people with multiple computers and phones and especially multiple IP's I expect you could earn quite a lot here. I get about £25 a month from my desktop. Here's my link - https://dashboard.honeygain.com/ref/KEVIN583

Mine had dropped a little over the New Year period, but today has got up quite a lot and is doing really well.

Hopefully they will long continue as already earned over $140 with them in such a short space of time doing nothing :)

So the speed has rather dropped again lately, and I'd just like to point out the absolute poverty of their referral scheme. I currently have 24 referrals with 9 actively paying out. They claim you get 10% of referral earnings per day but I simply don't believe that. The most I have from anyone so far on a single day is 17.5 honey (or whatever that is) when my usual amount on a day is 1000+ when it's running properly. I just have a normal speed Virgin connection and I find it hard to believe my best referral earner only makes 175 a day.

Do you find this slows down your computer a bit? If it does can you pause it?

On your phone does it noticeably affect battery life?

Thanks very much - i'll give it a try.

Might give it a try on the computer to see if it slows anything down.

My referral code is : https://dashboard.honeygain.com/ref/RACHE583 if anyone wants it.

EDIT so i don't double post - doesn't look like it's available on Iphone. Must have missed that.

I don't notice it at all. I think I remember reading that it's effect on battery life is minimal. You can close it down at any time. It's one of those nice surprises when you're close to payout because you usually just forget it's there.

I'd imagine you could leave it on sleep mode as it only needs to use the bandwidth but I use a PC so not 100% sure.

Nah I think closing laptop case places windows in hibernation and stops it from operating so wouldnt work. That was one of things about arm processors in mobiles with low power operation. You could set the screen to sleep and it would work in that mode.

I am interested in this but I noticed @Jon mentioned possible IP blocking. Can you explain that? I work from home all the time and wouldn't want that to be affected by lack of internet access. Thanks and sorry if this is a stupid question.
