Hi, how do you all manage your time when you're working on a number of things from home? Half the time I feel I'm getting no where much on all sites because I'm just spinning round in circle trying to do them all.

To be honest, I'm finding everything a really hard uphill struggle. I've been trying to make a good living from home for a number of years now and haven't managed to. I scrap around for all that I do get and it's a long hard slog to get that. I do a text work, survey sites, Clickworker, Neevo, I applied for Lionbridge passed the test but haven't heard anything yet about the job. I'm signed up to Audio Bee but haven't heard anything back after doing the test. I joined UserTesting and Testable Minds but have yet to do anything on there. I feel I'm constantly working for getting hardly any payback. I make around £60 a week and really need to be making a full time wage of at least £1,200 if not more.

We're struggling so much at home, in the past month on top of the usual struggle we've had very high vets bills with one of our dogs after so much stress and ending with him needing his eye removed, I feel a huge let down right now and that I'm making everything so much harder financially. I worked in care a few years ago, left that and then got a factory job but they would only take me on through agency and since last year have had barely any hours, I don't know whether to try home care Interserve I've heard do full shifts within one clients home, I've never done that before though, but really I'd much prefer to be making a full time living from home. I just don't know what to do to be honest.

Aye up

First, I'm sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment. ]

In terms of how I balance my time. I've spoken about this a bit before but I use websites / apps like ToDoIst which REALLY helps give me some structure to my day.

A typical mon-fri for me workwise is Lionbridge Work > Login for Prolific Surveys > catch up on emails, social media > plough on with my online work (so that could be creating new content, a new website, promoting something I'm doing etc.) so each day is quite different and I tend to sort of start/stop when I choose a lot of the time as none of my work requires me to be working as a specific time.

in terms of upping your income, variety is going to be key. Jump on the smartphone task apps like Roamler, BeMyEye etc when they return in a big way over the next few weeks.

If you don't want to wait for the work to come to you what can you do to generate work (I've spoken about this here - https://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/inde...online-work-to-come-to-you.11978/#post-171905 )

@rich110991 has managed to make £1000+ each month for a while now and doesn't do anything you couldn't do! He might have some ideas to help you!

I don’t know your situation but I don’t have a job, I live at home with my parents and I don’t have a partner or kids so I do have a lot of time on my hands. I’ll just tell you what I’ve done today and see if there’s anything you could do.

I woke up and cracked on with Neevo straight away. They offered me a correction task where I get paid for all of the tasks I do unless I get blocked out, which fingers crossed I wont. So I’m trying to do as many of those as possible whilst it lasts. I did 500 yesterday so that would be $60, assuming I don’t get blocked, and I’m aiming for th

As well as that I’ve done 80 messages so far on Operador Chat throughout the day. And I’ve been doing at least 100 per day this week because then that should be around £100 over the week.

Whilst doing that I had the odd Prolific survey come through. Only like £1 each but I’m going to leave Prolific to build up for a while and not cash out.

I had an IntelliZoom survey too which was for $8.

Then I did my Lionbridge ad rating which is for $14.

I don’t know if you drive but I had a Beelivery order come through for £10. And then I did two quick tasks on Roamler as well for £3 each.

So maybe just shy of a £100? Not all days are as good, but it can be done. Again I don’t know your situation though. I hope you manage to find something.

If you are looking to go back to working outside the home, I have heard schools are going to need a lot of extra people to help children catch up. I don't know what level of NVQ or AQA they will want but I have worked with TA's who were training while they worked. It is not the best paying job in the world but the hours are fine and leaves time for other things.

At the moment Slice the Pie always seems to have something on bonus. Its boring especially when it is music but the bonus jobs can lead to £10 a day while you are watching TV.

Have you tried appen? Sometimes it can take a while for projects to come through but it is worth it.

I really struggle with time as I am at home with a toddler so I mostly start work at night - after my partner gets in from work at 8 o'clock. I tend to do my appen tasks first and what ever surveys I can fit in I do around them. I find it great to have a few apps on my phone as when I have a spare minute I can just do them. Ones that work great on my phone are vypr, survey mini (which is handy if you pass a lot of shops as the surveys are based on shops and writing reviews) and curious cat.

Thank you Jon,

Everything is just piling on top of me and has been for so long, and I'm getting nowhere. I'm letting down my family and wasting time making nothing.

I might actually download the ToDo apps thank you. It might help if I write it all down daily tasks etc.

How long does it usually take Lionbridge to get back to you? I did the test some weeks ago and have heard nothing yet.

I will download the smartphone task apps thank you.

Thank you Rich for that. I see what you do on various threads and it's inspiring, sometimes I need a good kick up the backside and seeing what you and everyone else on here are doing gives me that.

I'm waiting for Lionbridge to get back to me as I'm on the waiting list for the ad rating after doing the test really want that one.

Sadly I don't drive, right now I couldn't even afford a bottle of cola from the shop let alone a car.

I live with my partner and three dogs. I feel a total let down to him as he works so hard and we have nothing and are in financial problems namely because I'm not making enough. I don't have a job outside of the home right now. And I'd need to make at least £100 a day to get us out of the hole we are in.

On Neevo I have the Noisy insurance calls customer, I've been offered the agent but I really do get stressed doing the calls. I have the text audio correction. Wish I had the US sentiment one as people seem to like that.

Intellizoom, I'm signed up but haven't done anything on there, the being recorded via webcam makes me nervous.

Thank you for posting all you do, it does help those of us that want to be where you are with earnings and you all on here.

I haven't actually applied for Appen yet, can you do that if you've applied for the ad rating job with Lionbridge because I'm waiting for them to get back to me on that I'm on the waiting list after doing the test.

Thank you for the app suggestions, I will download those and have a look now.

I would give it a go. I was with appen already and could not get into Lionbridge, but maybe try it the other way round. Or wait a while before trying.

Thank you for all your replies. And thank you Mlch21, I will fill in the Appen application form tonight, got nothing to lose I guess. I've heard that the test is hard and long which always put me off applying there.

I just get so overwhelmed with everything that I'm trying to do, we're sinking financially, stress is so high, I feel like a let down and a failure. I read what you all do on here and try that, and yes I'm making a little bit but it's not enough to help. I feel like I have to be at the laptop all the time because of all the low pay things I'm doing. The vets bills really put another knife in us.

Thank you all for your replies anyway. And this forum is great and I think that everyone on it is an inspiration to anyone wanting to earn money from home. Which is harder than it sounds if you want to make me full time wage like I need.

Ok a couple of things. Please don't stress about the agent calls. It's $15 per hour and you can work from 10am till 9pm as much as you want. That's the easiest way you are going to make £100 per day right now. It's nothing to stress about. Go for it.

And with IntelliZoom, they're not looking at you, they're just listening to what you say. Don't panic.

Right here's an idea

Take a look at these pages and find say 5 things you haven't tried before to earn money and give them a go!
I say this because if what you are doing isn't working for you and it's feeling like a grind this isn't going to change to maybe it's time to switch it up a bit!

I'm not great at being organised, so I just work according to urgency/priority; if it can wait, it will wait. If it can't... you can bet your rear end that I'll be jumping on it.

Restarted work and been trying to explore several ways to make passive income. The latter was inspired during covid and realized there's a ot of money to be made with just a little time and effort.
