Earning online can mean having to be all things to all people sometimes. You can end up doing work for 10/15/20 companies at a time and it's hard to know where to prioritise first I find.

For me right now obviously I am chugging along with running TMS and Matched Betting.

But then I'm also having to work on promotion for CompareTheMatchedBetting and on top of that I'm looking at launching a new website / service which means totally starting from scratch and even that can be overwhelming to the point of me just putting it off endlessly.

When I start a new project I tend to use MindMaps to help me so that I can work on the various aspects of the project without feeling like I should be doing everything at once which I find helps.. As an example, this is what one 'branch' would typically look like for me starting a new Blog

But I remember years ago when I was juggling 63336/Bongo with Leapforce Yukon Work with SmartPhone app work with ShopAndScan and then eDigitalresesarch work whenever that came on and on top of that I had my full-time job as well and felt like I was going mad so that's when I decided to focus more on earning money passively rather than manually.

Do you ever get overwhelmed when working from home online and if so what do you do to avoid burnout?

I think the fact there is no OFF SWITCH easily when it comes to self-employed work really doesn't help!! You can just open the laptop and start working whenever you want which is probably half the problem as in a regular 9-5 once you walk out the door you are done for the day!

My priorities changed big time a couple of years ago when my mortality jumped up and slapped me in the face!
Before that, it was all about the money, but now, its all about enjoying life.
So now, it isn't the money that's the pull, its the enjoyment that I get from the work. I would rather work on something that I really enjoy for £5 an hour than slog away at something boring for much more.
I used to start work at 7 a.m. and it wasn't unusual for me to still be going at 8 p.m. Now, I do what I want, when I want, and don't fret so much about money. If its a nice day, sod the work, I get out and enjoy the moment.
I've learned the hard way - you can't take it with you when you go, so as long as you have enough to live on, get out and enjoy life. You never know when it will be your last day.
Gawd, reading that back sounds so depressing, but actually, it is rather liberating if you think about it :)

I would say it looks like you had to go through all that to realise what's important and how to put things first.

At the moment I am feeling a bit burnt out and unmotivated. One of my regular audits has just had the fee reduced and they are clamping down on that so I am doing quite a lot of extra under cover work there to check evrything is correct. In the last week, I have also had suspicion on one of my jobs, so that I have had to move branch and I had a Roamler job rejected today. Trying to work on my blog, but as you all know struggling with the technical side, so am going to see someone about that tomorrow. Its hard, but I am trying to make a rough weekly plan for my manusal jobs and then fit my other bits in, eg blogging, promoting my blog, building up my social media etc around it. Not easy when other stuff going on as well, dont really knwo what the answer is. I suppose its a case of keep calm and carry on, but I am needing to give my oldest Son quite a bit more focus at the moment for various reasons. Generally love working from home but definitely need to do some stuff where I am out, cause being in the house too much stresses me out mentally if that makes sense.
