How long til you were gubbed?

Hello, thinking about trying matched betting and just reading up on it just now. I can see that if you overuse certain sites, you will be banned (or gubbed). If you have been gubbed:

1) How long did it take until you were banned from the site?
2) Were you ever able to rejoin the site?
3) Are there any tips to avoid being gubbed?

I can't imagine how MB can work as a long term money making idea if, eventually, you will be thrown off the sites, although I am aware that lots of new sites are opening all the time so maybe that's how. Thanks!

2) I can still place bets, just not access offers. I don't though. The site was only good for the weekly free bet.

1)1-2 days. 1 bet placed... I'm not the only one in this boat with them.
2)I can still place bets, just no offers for me.

3) Placing only singles, clearly only ever using the site for the offers, winning too much (!!), and placing large bets at higher odds than the exchange are four of the main reasons to be gubbed.

We discussed something called iesnare which might be worth googling. It's up for debate whether it affects you or not but it's the only reason I can think of for the Racebets thing unless there is some highly illegal sharing of info between bookies.

Thanks, Ted. I was unaware of them potentially using iesnare - will be interesting for me to read a bit more about it and I wonder how that will be affected by GDPR. Nevertheless, I'll be reading T&Cs of all sites before signing up! Thanks!

As long as you mug bet and don’t take the Piss in terms of going after offers and all diversify the sort of offers you do with bookies you should be fine in the long term

Heck I’ve been doing this nearly 5 years and have only lost a handful of accounts

Gubbed bonus wise yeah - can’t remember about any stake restrictions

I seem to be ok for the offers but not the boosts which is a pain as they were a good money spinner.
