How many tabs do you have open at any one time?

I can handle about 8 or 9, as soon as I realise I've got more open than that it really stresses me out and I have to close loads down because it annoys me.

I was speaking to someone I know about this and they regularly have 40-50 open at any one time. Social media, forums etc. I'd go into meltdown with all them!

When i am unable to see the words on the tab I tend to stop

equally my iPad Air doesn't like more than a certain amount as otherwise they just sit there and spin constantly

As a standard I usually have 8-10 with my most visited sites open, there are 12 open on my phone right now :)

I am known to have 20-30 open for a while when I've done a Pinterest browse or done some research etc!

I can easily have 30 open on a working day, I have 3 sets of Chrome open. One on my second monitor for AQA which I tend to have a tab declutter every few hours and have been known to keep 15 tabs or so open (rather than closing them after each question). Then I have my Netmum's tab which has normally around 6-7 tabs, sometimes more. Then I have my general tab which always has FB, TMS, NM, Hootsuite, Younique, Yahoo Answers and Pinterest as a minimum.

Way too many! And not just tabs, programs too.

At the moment I've got 9 items on my tool bar. Two of those are the internet with loads of tabs open.

I read something recently about how trying to multitask like this is actually a bad thing, as however long you've stopped doing something for (to refresh another tab, to do something else, etc), it takes you twice as long to get back on track.
