Hi everyone.

I've started playing around with MB'ing but want to know how much money I would need to start with were I to take it seriously and aim for the £500+ per month that I see people earning.

Thanks

Rob

I started with £60 and have made over £14,000 so far in the last year so with a £500 start you can do great things!!!

I think you need a bank of about £2k to do it easily but you build up to that with the initial offers so don't think you need to put that in. I only aim for around £250 a month and I like to keep around £700 in my exchanges and then I have around a thousand floating between bookies and in and out of my bank account. That does me quite nicely as long as I keep on top of where my money is and do regular withdrawals.

Thanks very much for the advice guys. If I could get close to that £14000 in one year I would be a very happy chappie! Only time will tell if I get anywhere near that

[member=4371]Tracker400[/member] You can pretty much start with £50-£100 and you'll be able to make a steady start - a larger bank roll enables you to put more bets on at once (due to the liability amount needed), so if you can afford to put a few hundred into a separate bank account then you'll make a strong start.

£14,000 a year is a mixture of MB and some bloody good slots luck - to get the higher numbers you've got to be going for slot offers that involve a bit of risk, and have some luck on your side. I don't do many risky offers so I'm more steady - just coming up on a year and I'm probably going to hit £6,000 by then. Not to be grumbled at, mind!

If you remove my £8,000 win I've still made £7,000 in 4 months ;) Not bad really.

It'll drop down now as I have no beginner or advanced offers left, and I'm picking with my reloads, but even £500 a month would be great for me.

[member=920]katykicker[/member] Oh man, I could only dreeeeaaam of a £8,000 win. Must've been amazing! Are you using it on something specific?

I think £500 a month once all the sign-ups are out of the way is a great achievable target.

I had it in June and it went out the same month. Some of the things I've done with it:

Two holidays to Centerparcs in September / February.
Replaced savings that I had to use for an unexpected tax problem (that I then had reimbursed when I won my appeal) so savings boosted
Treated my Mum, husband and daughter
Bought myself a Tag Heuer watch

So the bulk went to savings, more than half. The rest just on myself/family really, nice to be able to treat everyone and when they said no I could say I just WON the money rather than earning it properly so not to feel bad :)

That's so nice. Centerparcs is lovely in autumn...you have a little baby, right? It must be so nice to have unexpected earnings to spend on treats for the family ;D

I do, a 5 month old! So this is her first trip to Centerparcs. With some of the other money we've been able to book to go as a little family, with my Mum and brother, with my brother & sister & 5 nieces/nephews and with our friends (one of them has womb cancer and is having a hard time at the moment) so it is really nice to have that extra money for guilt free treats really (and savings!)

I plan to sign up to profit accumulator today and will be giving match betting a try. Probably with an initial deposit of £100.

I deliberated over whether to sign up to profit accumulator or one of the other alternatives, but in the end, mainly owing to the amount of support (and member participation) profit accumulator has throughout this forum, I am leaning towards this option.

I guess that it will take a little while to get signed up some bookies (I am not currently signed up to any), and I am not sure if there are any particular bookies I should be signing up with first but hopefully that will all become clear.

[member=4373]Friar[/member] It's worth having a go with a couple of sites and seeing which is the best fit for you and the trials are freeeee, so why not. You can cancel anytime without penalty too, so if you pay for a month and then decide to try another website then you can do.

PA lists the new account offers in order of how easy they are, so do the easy/beginner ones first and then do the advanced ones when you have a bigger bank roll and more confidence. My friend has just started doing matched betting and I advised him to lean towards getting Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, Coral, Skybet, Betfred, 888sport, and William Hill done first, mainly because they are where I tend to earn most of my money.

Have photos of your ID (passport or driving licence), front and back of your debit card you'll be using (middle 8 digits of the long number and the CVC on the back blocked out) and a utility bill/bank statement dated within the last 3 months, all handy on your computer as many bookies will ask for them so you'll be ready!

Thanks for the advice Uhhhh. I have signed up to the PA free trial using your referral link. If it goes well, I'll sign up for a months membership.

[member=4373]Friar[/member] I started with about £60 though I could have used abit more. I decided that 'slow and steady' was a better plan than 'fools rush in' for myself so did not want to spend too much too quickly, until I had a better grasp of the basics. :)

I have opened all new bookie accounts with deposits from my current account (not main one), so not sure how much I have actually spent (just over one month in). I advise getting a spreadsheet sorted if you have Excel. I don't so am trying to keep up with a 'diary' at the moment.

Good luck, and welcome :)

I started with £50 and I have still sign up offers to go. Not done all of them but did some reloads. Within two months I was able make around £1000 with sign up offers + reloads. Not sure what you would get from all sign up offers.

Hi everyone and thanks for all the input to the thread. Sounds like everyone's doing alright of the MB'ing then. I've already got a little spreadsheet and calculator going so all being well I'll be seeing some of the nice profits everyone else already has.

Just started with £150. Just done my first matched bet, made £5 on the qualifying bet and £14.46 on the matched bet. Thanks Watford!
