Does anyone write for Hubpages? I joined up a couple of years ago and wrote around 10 articles and then forgot about it. Since then I've had four or five payouts of $50 each, so $200-$250 dollars. I just checked and there's another $31 in there. Not bad for an hour's work a couple of years ago, although the payment is dwindling.

If only I could find the motivation to write more.

Can you tell us a bit more about the site and what's involved? (and maybe a link to it) lol

Oh, sorry!

I thought it would be kinda well-known.

Linky here.

It's a website where you have your own profile and you write articles. You can get Google adsense and Amazon etc, but you need to organise them yourself and then link your accounts. IIRC.

When you register you get your own profile and you can write articles on various things. I wrote a few, mainly Spanish language stuff (my degree subject), and the odd baby topic (I had two), but I've noticed most of my views (and therefore earnings) have been on a Christmas Toys 2011 post (I wrote in June 2011) and a Simple Baby Hat Knitting Pattern.

I'd never heard of milkthecow or bubblews before signing up here, so I think it's along the same lines as these? I think I signed up to Wizzley and a few others at the same time. But I only wrote on Hubpages. Actually, I just logged in and I actually wrote 26 hubs (articles).

I've just realised I had this all set up and linked to adsense a couple of years ago. I didn't write many Hubs though, so will investigate and see what a month brings.

I think it's a bit like squidoo. Presumably you get a share of the revenue if someone buys a product that you review on there.
