Friday – February 1st – Hyperoptic pricing for new customers will be changing.

Prices now start from just £18 a month for 12 months and we’ve waived all installation and activation fees – perfect timing for customers looking to make savings in the new year.

This pricing will be live until the 31st of March

Use the discount code "SAVE19" and click this link to experience the UK's fastest broadband. Not sure if you have to use the link or not, if you use it, it will surely help me.

I joined them 2 months ago, they provide great uninterrupted service, and it is really the fastet in the UK (1Gbps)

Alternatively you can message me and I'll invite you.

How the heck are they offering 1GB speeds for broadband at home? Not even Virgin offer that!

Very limited areas covered.
FTTH (rather than FTTC).
I think virgin COULD offer it but a lot of their 'backbone' is still old infrastructure so as they put new cableing in I think you'll see their speed jump up further. don't they currently offer 300mb or something?

Virgin has Docsis 3.0 mostly, max speed on that is 200Mbps.
I heard they are upgrading it to 3.1 which can provide 1-2Gbps, later this year.

I am really happy with Hyperoptic paying £40 for 1Gbps. They mostly cover block of flats not houses as building cost would be a lot for fibre optic, where as virgin and bt only uses fibre up until their nodes, and from there Coax or Phone line hence speed limitations.

Funny that in my home country we had 1Gbps for around £15 8 years ago already. Guess it's a benefit being a small country.

So is that 1GB split across the multiple flats in your block or is that 1GB all for you?

Are you able to show a speedtest screenshot of the sort of speeds you are getting at all?
