In-Play Betting

Afternoon everyone,

I was just wondering whether it is possible to "match" in-play betting...though, I am presuming it can be done seeing as a lot of the reload offers are like this.

Would someone be willing to give me a very brief explanation about how it's done?

Or, is it the same principal as standard MB?

Same principle as the exchanges go in play as well as the bookies. However the odds difference is a lot more as the bookie odds drop a big chunk at the start of the match and the exchange odds don't drop (to close to that bookie price) for at least 10 mins

Yes, exactly the same principle as standard except the odds change much faster and there can be a wider disparity between bookies and exchange, so it can be hard to get good matches. Many people suggest limiting bets to half time so you aren't burnt by a sudden goal happening between placing your bet and getting your lay on.

It's the same principle but as the other two PPs say, greater price differences. Start with half times, because the odds don't jump about as much then. You have to be quicker to bet and lay, so I find the best thing to do is use a split screen on my laptop, bet/lay calculator on one side, exchange on the other, and the bookie's website up on my phone, compare odds at a glance and have them entered into the calculator. Put your lay stake into the exchange but don't 'confirm bet' until your bookie stake lays - in case the price jumps. As soon as it goes on in the bookies, confirm it in the exchange.

When you are more practised you could risk doing it outside of half time. I do this now but have been caught occasionally by odds changing mid-bet.

I usually just set an alarm on my phone for when half time starts and place the bet then.
