I've been a regular user of Inboxpounds to earn that little extra that makes all the difference. I've tried Swagbucks and similar sites and much prefer Inboxpounds.

In the last month I've earnt £6.74 as follows.

Payment Bonus £1
PaidEmails £0.31
Surveys £0.20
Tasks £1.88
Searches £1.83
Videos £1.39
Referrals £0.13

For me getting paid to do the searches I'd do daily anyway is a great advantage of the site.

Sounds like you might want to take a look at Qmee - Could be right up your street

I'm struggling with InboxPounds a bit to be honest, but maybe I haven't explored it properly yet. I like the searches as they've thrown up some interesting and relevant sites, but I don't like the paid emails as you seem to have to sign up for a load of stuff you really don't want. Perhaps I just need to get into more of a routine - the same goes for SwagBucks. What was it about SwagBucks that put you off?

I find InboxPounds a bit slow.. but then I'm not doing the surveys. I just watch the videos and do a few searches when I remember. Still I've got up to around £11.50.

£11.50 isn't bad going

how long did it take you to get to that much?

I like things like Qmee which are passive earners.

Inbox/Swagbox always seem to want me to 'do things' outside of my general internet usage which I suppose puts me off a bit

I think it is a site where you get emailed offers which you then click on but I could be wrong.

Sorry for bringing another old thread to the top.

InboxPounds is another site I'd recommend. L8TE-K8NQUV-6KASIts literally money for nothing. Instead of typing in "www..." just type the site name there. Add that to the odd video and mail clicks...£20 every 2 or 3 months.

Don't recommend the surveys on it though, can earn better elsewhere

I cancelled my account with InboxPounds (and lost my credit, such as it was) - not for any particular reason other than it wasn't for me, and I'm concentrating my efforts on a smaller number of preferred sites.

Having said that, I know there are other Shedders who use the site so there must be some merit. Maybe somebody would like to share tips as the Pauper suggests?

Yes I agree I also tried it but found it wasn't for me too slow and I have other sites that I prefer but some people really get on well with it. A few tips and tricks would help anyone who was thinking of giving this site a try.

Hi, can you tell us a bit more about it? Top tips etc :)

From blog:

In my opinion, the simplest of the money earning sites is Inbox Pounds. It's a reputable company which I'm told is "Inbox Dollars" in the USA and elsewhere.

Very, very simply - it's a site which you can use instead of Google or Bing but they pay you for using their site. You earn 1p for every 2 original searches up to the value of 15p per day. You also receive a loyalty bonus of 10p each week for using the search engine a few times.

I also recommend clicking the 'Paid Emails' (1p for 1 click) and the videos section which pay between 1p-8p per video.

You can also earn a little extra from various special offers and surveys, but the surveys don't pay particularly well.

I've cashed out a few times - they pay by cheque when you reach £20. The cheque arrives quickly. Reaching that £20 isn't so quick but the site requires little to no effort.

Personally, I just use inbox pounds instead of typing in www... in the search bar. Wouldn't bother with their surveys and don't have any experience of special offers

Here's some recent info on inboxpounds: I've been a member for 10 days or so and already have £4.50, although some of this was a sign up bonus. I really only do radio loyalty and searches and my earnings are building up slowly but steadily.

I found it very hard going to reach the £20 payout level but then I complete the surveys and tasks elsewhere. I know a few people manage to reach the redemption level every few months but it took me about 18 months I think. Once I've received my cheque from them I'll be cancelling my account - it's just not worth my time and effort.

I don't do the surveys on here because they don't pay well at all. I don't actually do much. Just a couple of searches and radio loyalty which I mute and just enter a code every 15 minutes.
