Anyone use or know of a good service (preferably a free or very cheap one) for scheduling instagram posts?

I have FINALLY made some good progress with my blog and successfully installed a nifty little Instagram sidebar that shows a tile of my most recent 9 photos - I can't even tell you how long it took me and how proud I am that it actually works!

Anyway, I have stacks of cool photos from my travels and I want to start gradually back posting them.

Would make my life so much easier if I could just sit down for a day and set them up to roll out on their own!

(Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I'm doing it in relation to my blog to seemed relevant)

I'm pretty sure Instagram no longer supports scheduling but I'm not 100% sure. I used to be able to do it with Buffer but then they changed their 3rd party api terms and it no longer worked. I've not really bothered looking in to it because it forces me to use the app each day ;)

Katy might know better.

I think you can still use Grum to schedule from a computer but you'll have to pay for it I think.

Cham is right that they don't really want you scheduling and they want you to go in the app. You can draft them on Instagram. Click your photo, save your text then hit back twice and save draft instead of discard. So you can do your hashtag research etc and then you can go in each day or whenever and hit post.

Thanks, that seems like a good idea!

Are hashtags still a valuable tool on Instagram? I was led to believe that they are dying a death but I'm probably wrong. I find them incredibly #annoying.

I'm not sure if Hootsuite will work - they still have the option to schedule but it would make you confirm through the app when it was due to post which was a pain.

Yes, hashtags are still VERY VERY encouraged but what you're best doing is having a few in the original post, at most. Then whack the rest in the first comment. This means the post is still seen in the relevant hashtag searches but it doesn't look spammy to someone flicking by.

I have a selection of hastags, depending on the image saved. I have general blogger ones which include things like #ChammyIRL and #UKLifestyleBlogger then a selection for the animals, parenting, money etc which I'll add to the general hashtags. Makes the whole process quicker ;)
