So I'll just copy/paste it here and see if anyone had heard of any of these:

Hello People!
I am trying to assemble a comprehensive list of links to UK market research companies which maintain databases of focus group participants and UK market research participant recruiters. The list which I have pasted below contains what I would consider being the "well known" payers in this business space, but I am sure there are a lot of other smaller players and individuals who could be added to the list. Just to be clear, the companies on this list conduct (or recruit participants for) genuine market research (£50 - £100 per assignment) and NOT paid surveys (paid in points, or 50p for twenty minutes of your time etc.. )
Any suggestions for companies or individuals to add to my list would be very much appreciated.

99% of them have been mentioned a million times on here for the 6 years.

focus groups are very much “do once, see ya in 6/12 months” so it always pays to apply for as many companies as you can as you very rarely get regular focus group work from the same company

Yea one of them did say you can only do one evry six months so I guess this long list is necessary. I've signed up for one on angelfish which, if I get, would involve three Ikea people coming round my house for 90 minutes. Sounds fun!

My experience is that they ask you if you've done a focus group in the last (x) months but no-one really cares.

I even had one company tell me the answers to give and re-submit my application.

What was strange is it was for a ££££ tv brand and they wanted people looking to buy a £2k tv in the next 3 months. One person there didn't have a job and kept just saying, "I'd never buy it, its far too expensive!"

Unfortunately focus groups near me are nearly always in London, which I'm nearish but still costs a bomb to get to. I'd only be doing remote stuff, probably.

I was asked to be on standby for people for research for a day. I think they were offering about £100.00 but I had to turn it down as I had to go to work. I think it helps to be near a big city. I have also done a couple for Bristol university. If you are in London London business school are always looking for people.

I got a call just now from Paid Market Research (or something like that) about using Dropbox. I must have said I used it loads on the pre-screener (I don't) in hopes of getting on it and forgot what I had said days later. So I told the lady that I've only used it a couple of times (the truth!) and that killed my chances of being on the study. Moral of the story is obvious here, isn't it? :D

If anyone's in the London area, Bright Research are absolutely spamming my email with offers for paid research in London. They send at least one new one every day, usually around £50-100.

I had one today from people for research for Bristol or Swansea. They are usually about £50.00.

Woah - what a list!

Does anyone sign up to all of these or maybe pick out 3 or 4 and just keep up to date with them? Doing the screeners alone for that kind of list would take forever.

Thanks for this long list. I am checking some of them out.

With Angelfish are there just a short list of projects on their current projects page? Or am I looking in the wrong place. I can only see about 4 projects still open, the rest are closed or full.
