My only BIG tip for this app is that there always seems to be a constant bug

Say there is a task to, i dunno, go into a supermarket and take a photo of some pancakes. You see 30 shops listed, so you go and do 10 of them thinking you will get paid for all

WRONG

even thought the other pancake supermarkets are still on the app you will ONLY get paid for doing the task once. It just never tells you that

voice of experience here ;(

damn pancake check...

yes I had that one too. I was popping into tesco for lemonade and it asked me if I would be buying any yogurts or chilled food and I stupidly pressed no. The task disappeared after telling me I wasn't suitable, then I went in and bought chilled pie and mash. Then I kicked myself.

I had the potion of a top up shop at the co op today. I did it then when i was driving past another an hour later I got a notification saying I was near another co op. I clicked onto the missions and sure enough I could of completed it but I remembered your advice lol. It was for a fiver too. Is it definitely true cos I live within the vicinity of loads of co ops and could make a few bob here.....

I was unaware they had an app - just used website, but I just got £15 of Amazon vouchers from them there & had a few products to test out to reach that. The sites OK, a lot of surveys screened me out but to be expected I guess. Shame that they don't offer Paypal at an earlier stage.

I seem to have travelled into the future since starting my latest survey...everything seems a little bit different (I am hoping this forum is still around?)

Not so impressed with my first survey! Asked if I'd stayed in a hotel in the last 12 months (I said 'yes') - next question it asked how many times I'd stayed in a hotel in the last 3 months (I said '0') but it wouldn't let me say '0' - had to be '1' or greater! So I put '1'. That took me onto the next question - which specific hotel/resort did I stay in - there was no option for the MacDonald Hotel or an option for 'other' - so how can we be honest in surveys when there is no option to be... ::) still haven't finished it yet...waiting to see what else I come up against...!

Re: Ipoll - £10 task

So, finally realised the £10 tasks I got excited about earlier were through ipoll not clic'n'walk. If I hadn't have been working this week I could have earned £40 one afternoon. As it happens I am working away in Surrey.

Luckily I found one of these tasks within a 5 mile drive so I went there and have just got back.

Not so luckily when I go there and opened the ipoll app, and pressed the locator pin for more information on the job all I got back was a message 'you must be at the location to carry out the task'. Well, I was at the blimmin location, had driven there especially and on my limited 2 hours in 24 hours break! I tried outside and inside the store and the same info came back. I tried to log onto the shop's Wi-Fi as I'd remembered someone on here once mentioning that Tesco have that for customers. Unfortunately there was no Wi-Fi network available for Tesco!

So, I guess I need to ask 'what happens now? I took screenshots of the messages I was receiving which showed the map and the pin locating where I was, I also went onto googlemaps to evidence where I was and I took a photo of the outside of the store which had the address written on the door.

Do we have an Ipoll representative on this site? Only because when I went into the app to 'contact us' button, it told me my device doesn't send emails. Anyone had problems before with ipoll tasks? Who do we contact? I only joined this week.

I always seem to come up against some obstacle or another - it's really frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a problem with them the other week, I accepted the task but the task screen didn't load. I contacted them and they told me to do everything I had just told them that I'd done (restart phone, open and close app etc). In the end reinstalling the app fixed it for me, try that?

On the website when I got home that day, I had to go out and retry

I see, I wasn't sure if I could contact them online about the mobile app stuff but I sent a message anyway, explaining the situation and that I had screen shots and evidence that I had arrived at the said destination (photo) and that the app was saying I needed to be at the destination to carry out the task (when I was at the destination). I've asked them to honour the payment under the circumstances but it seems they want you to go back and try again....

Frustrating that you can't accept them until you're there. My nearest was about 20 min drive away. Not a huge issue as I could do other things whilst there. On the other hand if they had gone whilst I was driving there (9 left when I left) then I wouldn't have been happy.

Started answering questions whilst waiting at Customer Services (unrelated to task) and also whilst going up the travellator to do an FA task. By the time I went downstairs again to take a photo, the task had wiped my answers & I had to accept it again (luckily it was available). Answered the questions again, took the photo. Would have been quick & easy had it not reset itself. When I first tried to take the photo, the screen stayed back, so had to cancel the photo & go back in again. It also took a few minutes to get it to scan the product - I've not had a problem in other MS apps or apps such as MySupermarket.

I could only get it to partly upload on Tesco wifi, tried numerous times. Eventually got it to upload via 3g, but I didn't dare let it reset again.

So overall, quick & easy task made not so easy by the app & not being able to reserve it before getting to the location.

Edit - they disappeared after completing 1. It may be they were all completed as there were 9 spots left when I accepted it, but it may well have been you were only able to complete 1. Wish apps would make that point clear - for £10/time I'll travel for a few.

Yes, Fred, very frustrating.

I can now see a total of 9 within a 3 mile radius of where I stay on my week off. Would have been nice to make £90 today, but as you say, maybe you are only permitted to do one task within a certain area. What's the betting when I go back on Monday they will all be gone!
