No it isn't.

There has been a scam email doing the rounds recently. If you've received this and been duped into clicking the link within the email then you will want to change your password on GTM and any similar site that you may use the same password on.

The exact message that I have received from GTM support states the following:

10 Feb, 12:21

Dear Panelist,

GlobalTestMarket is not closing.

For more information, please go to www.globaltestmarket.com and visit our FAQ page.

(They are an hour ahead where they are, hence the time being in the future )

Would seem that they were closing in Ireland, and perhaps somewhere else, and instead of just advising people of that in their email they used almost identical wording to a scam email that was doing the rounds. I've had two people contact me about this, one polite, one not so much, as if it is personally my fault that GlobalTestMarket advised that they were not closing and that this only referred to the UK not other countries.

I'm based in the UK, that is pretty clear, and I only post about my website on other sites for UK based people. Still, I've amended my original post now, and made a new one on it, as I wouldn't want anyone to be wasting their time on surveys if their region panel is closing.
