Question / Discussion Is it one or the other? Appen & Lionbridge

I've been looking at applying for Appen or Lionbridge and have a question. I'm sure i read somewhere that I am not allowed to work for both. Does that mean anything for one means no work with the other or does this mean the type of job. I've read through both sites but cannot seem to get a definite answer!

Can I do search engine stuff with Appen and something else with Lionbridge?

I know I could just not tell them, I mean how would they know? But, that's against the terms right?

From memory, they share (or used to share) the same Web Search Evaluator client so it tends to be the client that rebuffs your application

From what I have heard, you cannot work for them on the same project but I think it is ok for different projects. They will know as duplicate IP addresses are easily picked up and then you could face being kicked off by both companies.

I forgot Id applied for Appen, used a diffeerent email than my usual one and when I checked it today there was an email about a speech recognition task. This shouldnt clash with Lionbridge ad evaluator, right?

speech recognition isn't the same as rating social media adverts

That's what I mean. I can't see a reason why they would conflict if I did speech recognition for appen and ad evaluation for Lionbridge
