Oooh, just had a very nice bonus - a cheque for £708 ;D

Totally unexpected, an old insurance policy that paid out.

As of now, I have 3500/6000 I need to pay my sister back. That's after buying my lovely macbook too.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna make my target now - happy days!

Well done that is fantastic work!

I got a Macbook, it went down to £950, so got £50 refund, I also got £100 cash back on it and 14 odd % cash back elsewhere too, so I've got mine for about £700 - I'm so chuffed :D

So, here we are, midway through the month. Doing bits and pieces but not been as diligent as I should with the reloads. Still in profit though, despite no big slot wins.

I've been working on my blog which has been interesting ;D I'm sure I over think everything..... gets to the point where you just have to stop thinking and start doing!

Luckily, I've paid for everything that needs paying for out of my MB profit so I haven't had to worry about money.

All my funds are back from the bookies now, no more locked accounts. I'm leaving £800 in the exchange. This weekend will be the one where I do the last big sign up - £200 before rollover - hopefully I'll come out with at least £160.

Free Money ;)

Grrr have been gubbed :-\ Fortunately it's only the second one in 6 months but still annoying. Just goes to show, whatever precautions you take its gonna happen sooner or later!

In other news, not quite finished my rollover but should be done at the weekend. Should be at least £150 profit ;D

I've been concentrating on sorting out my blog for the last couple of weeks so not spending the time I should on MB. Seems like there's a lot of offers in the shops at the moment but I've never been in one. I feel somehow I'd really 'stick out'. After all, I'm a middle aged woman without a clue how to fill in a betting slip!

Guess there's a first time for everything..... just not yet ???

Ooh, have I really not updated for a month????

Been a bit poorly and just lost track of time I think. Don't worry, I've still been making money! Lost my Sky account - well, not the account just all the offers - I do miss it. So far, since I started in March I've lost 3 accounts which isn't too bad although there doesn't seem to be any pattern. I mug bet and don't take every offer......

In other news.... I've reached my target of a macbook and £6000 to pay off my sister ;D ;D ;D I'm sooo happy. I've had an extra payment of £708 from an insurance policy but apart from that, its all MB and slots. How mad is that????

I'll keep going because, why wouldn't you? There's Christmas and in the new year we're moving to Scotland permanently. Lots of money needed ;)

Exciting times!

That is brilliant!
Just shows MB works!
Yes I have mugged Accounts and still lost them. Impossible to keep every single bookie account. Lots of people on Profit Accumulator have lost various Bookie Accounts but still make plenty of money from Matched Betting.

Quick update ;D

For November my grand total is £546. Still doing reloads, a nice little slot win with Sky Vegas. Not an offer cos they banned me from them but tbh, that £240 win from a tenner tasted all the better for it! I don't usually do that as it's gambling of course but still.....

We're going back down South next week for 3 weeks over December and Christmas so looking to get a dongle for that. Son number 2 wants me to help him start up mb so we can't have the same isp address. I don't want to miss out though as there are usually lots of bookie offers in December (apparently) so I need to keep going while I'm away. I'm not techie at all so a dongle seems the easiest way to go. Unless anyone knows better of course ;)

Off to catch up, not been on here for a while and it looks like there's lots of newbies.

I'm not 100% but I think if you spend money without offers that you might be able to get back in to doing them. I don't know for sure as I've only been subbed from one place.

Oh gawd, another really long gap between updates  BUT I have still been making money.

If I'm honest the MB has slipped! I went home (back down South) for Christmas and New Year then back to Scotland. Lots of health issues :( then back South again - then we did it! We made the BIG move to Scotland. I've never lived anywhere but the south coast before but here we are.

MB helped enormously with the move. It provided a cushion and enabled us not to stress every time another bill wanted paying - removals, train travel, new furniture when we arrived etc etc.

We moved into the centre of Edinburgh and tbh it was with airbnb in mind. All our offspring stayed down South so we have a spare room if any of them wants to come and stay. In the meantime, may as well make money. When we moved into this flat it was covered in wood chip, awful carpets, ancient bathroom and kitchen and lots of 'potential' (I believe it's called). We've stripped out what we could, painted, made a feature of the 'vintage' bathroom and put the room up in June ( less than 2 months after moving in). Within 48 hours all the dates for the Festival had gone! Since then, half of September has also been booked and a few dates in October. I'm amazed but very pleased we chose this area.

Whilst doing this, I've updated all my bookies/bingo/casino sites (which took forever) so I'm ready to get going again. DS wants me to help him so I've told him it'll be my pleasure :D

I'll then have MB and airbnb as two sources of tax free income (airbnb up to 7.5K) which is great as husband is finishing his Phd so has no income at the mo. My blog's ground to a halt so I need to get that going again. In the meantime, I'm back here to check out what else would be feasible for me to bring in money. After all, you can't have too many streams of income can you?

Welcome back!

There's always opportunites to earn money, I'm curently doing passive earning using several smartphones and my gaming pc rig - using these alone I'm getting between £400 and £450 a month :)

Interested to see that you are earning money with AB&B, how does that all work with insurance and stuff? Have you had any horror stories yet where people have come to stay and thing have worked out less than ideally?

I think there's less of a risk doing airbnb when you actually live in the property. We're around a lot of the time as well so it's not like we leave our place empty all day so no insurance issues. We've had 14 guests so far (mostly pairs so 28 on 14 occasions) and there's been no problems at all - very boring! I'm sure there'll be something at some point though. I'll be sure to let you know when it happens :)

Still not back in the swing of MB yet but have been decluttering and ebaying. Every little helps

Still here and still making money but only with airbnb and eBay at the moment. I can't seem to get back into the groove with MB :( TBH, airbnb is easier for me right now. I've been diagnosed with cataracts so adding that to my list of ops makes it 3 before Christmas, 4 if they do the second eye quite quickly! Honestly, I wonder how many other bits of me are going to go wrong.

On the plus side, at least having TMS I know I can make money whilst I'm stuck at home :D

Stick with what works for you at the time. I am only 10 days in with mb, finding it interesting! Hope the ops go ok and you continue to rake in the ££££

@jackieblack I went right back to the beginning and read your journey from scratch. What an inspiring story. My MBing journey has only just begun but I know, if I keep on slowly and surely there IS money to be made. Hope the hospital sort you out soon. Please continue to keep us posted x

I am very excited...... I'm going to be a grandma!!!! Never actually thought it would happen if I'm honest so haven't really factored it into any plans. Now it looks like I need to save for a trip to Oz, £3000 should do it :D

In other news, Airbnb continues to provide us with a very good income so I'll be continuing with that. husband has now submitted his thesis and is doing some teaching and he has freelance work coming up. I've worked out that our basic living costs are £1000 pcm so anything over that is going into savings. My current sources of income are;

Airbnb ~ At least £800 pcm from Aug - Mar so under the £7500 tax free amount
Blogging ~ Nothing yet but working on it.
Freelance ~ Nothing yet but working on it.
Matched Betting ~ Building up again. Last month was £280 also tax free
Surveys/Prolific ~ £138 from June to date
Ebay Sales ~ just selling my old stuff since May £480 after postage and fees

So I think that if husband continues to bring in the £1000 a month for living costs anything I make can go into savings. We already have an emergency fund so that won't be touched. New challenge ~ £3000 in 6 months ~ bring it on!!
