I seem to be seeing less and less online about couponing when it comes to getting money off your shopping in store

HollyVloggs who used to be all over that scene even says it’s pretty much over

Are you finding it isn’t as popular or as easy to do as it once was?

It’s not something I’ve ever taken part in but I’m definitely seeing a lot less people promoting it on social media and putting up third “bought £50 of shopping for 60p!” Type content!

Much of those 'L@@K AT MY CHEAP SHOP' contents had people buying really strange stuff and not a week's shop.

I've not found any coupons that say, "not to be used while item is on sale" and infact, today I got a £12 off a £60 shop in sainsburys when i bought something from the kiosk and then used it against my main shop.

See that’s just, well, using a coupon

Extreme couponing is stock piling coupons and then presenting them all at once

I don't think it was ever a big thing over here.

I do remember back in the 90's when Tesco took vouchers for any product it sold, regardless of whether you purchased it or not.

I definitely used to be a thing a few years back in the UK

I remember shows on Channel 5 about it and lord knows how many YouTube videos existed about it!

I'm not saying it didn't happen, only that it wasn't really a 'thing' - the 'extreme' side of it. In the states it was massive (or it appeared to be) but in the uk, I don't think couponing got as big. Sure, there would be the odd 15p of a bottle of comfort in Women's Weekly or 10p off an Imperial Leather soap bar cut out of the daily mail, but 'EXTREME'? I just don't think it did.

Its not as big in the UK but I once did an Asda shop and got £60 shopping free. I use coupons all the time and cashback apps and email companies for more coupons. I can do shops of £20 or £30 free if I get everything sorted out and including cashback I have to claim. I get free stuff all the time and if I tried I don't think I'd really have to spend any money on groceries.

A lot of stores, you can't use multiple coupons at once.

Asda and stuff
Like asda and stuff. Usually it says something like it can not be used in conjunction with other vouchers.
