As a Distributor working for It Works! I am finding it a very positive experience. The Company certainly seem to keep to their moto of 'One Team, One Mission'. They give back to the community, in fact over the last 3 months I have seen them hand out incredible bonuses - In August, September and again through October they are running incentives where once qualified, 20 distributers each month will wim $20 000 bonus each to help pay off credit card debt.

As far as the products go, I am yet to hear of anyone who hasn't found that the products work and who doesn't give rave reviews. Personally, in just 45 minutes I lost over an inch on my waist and over the next 72 hours another inch disappeared. The same happened on my thights - 1" on each thigh in just 45 minutes!

I have only been working for It Works properly for 1 month and while I am not flying through the ranks (by choice I am taking it slowly), I am making progress and the product definitely speaks for itself.

Support from my upline/sponsor is 10 to none! She is in the US, but always come back quickly with answers to any questions I may have and nothing is ever too much trouble. The team support is also there and everyone works together. It really is fast becoming my new family.

Well I hope it works out for you, however, I haven't got a clue what you're trying to sell as you lost me after the first sentence when I saw how much there was to read

They sell those bandages that you wrap around yourself and they shrink your tummy or thighs.

(I know this because I wrote an article on it once and did a bit of research). The product does work - temporarily - by compressing out fluid and toxins from the skin. You apparently go to the loo a lot after having a wrap!! The wraps are good for someone wanting to fit into a slinky dress for a night out or special occasion. The fact that they do offer a good, temporary effect I feel is part of the business model - keeps people coming back for more.

:'( So sorry about that. I didn't mean to put too much info, just wanted to give a history of the company for anyone who might care to know.

As for what the product is - it is not a bandage and the effects while temporary, do not last only overnight.

The flagship product is a fabric wrap which is versatile and can be used on any part of the body from the neck down. There is also a facial applicator for your face which has a slightly different formulation on it specially for the more delicate skin on your face. The product tightens, tones and firms thereby giving inch loss. The creams are 100% botanical.

Our wraps are the original patented product and the results last up to 6 months.

One wrap is knows as a 'treat' while a box of 4 is a 'treatment' and obviously will produce better results than a one off.

Our product works wonderfully well with the 'pouch' on ladies stomachs after childbirth, cellulite, stretchmarks, spider veins, loose saggy skin, etc.

We do offer a more extensive skin range, but our main products and the most popular are the ones I have mentioned above.

I think that's pushing it a bit. These sorts of wraps aren't medically proven to do anything other than tone you up temporarily. Like I said - great product for when you need to tone up for a day at the beach or to get into a dress, but they're not going to change your body shape forever. Only way of doing that is by a healthy diet and exercise.

I would definitely use the wraps for a "quick fix" treatment though, but I would be put off by the fact that because they're making these claims they would cost a lot more than the kits you can get for £30 online. My local beautician charges about £60 for a wrap treatment - how much are the It Works ones?

The first time, I lost a couple of inches. Not like the amount claimed, but maybe half an inch from stomach, hips, thighs, etc.

The second time, it was for my wedding. It's still in the bathroom cabinet. ;D

How Body Wraps Actually Work

Most at home and spa wraps are comprised of two main components: The solution and the "wrap" itself. In truth, it is actually the solution that determines the effectiveness of a wrap because it contains the ingredients that do all the work. Specifically, legitimate body wraps are made from powerful all-natural ingredients that first absorb into your skin.

Once absorbed, the ingredients begin to attack the chemical bonds that are effectively keeping stored fat deposits and stored toxins attached to one another. Cheap and ineffective wraps, on the other hand, may actually make things worse and force your body to store more toxins rather than flushing them (more on this later).

So what do toxins attached to your fat deposits have to do with whether or not a body wrap actually works as advertised? Well once the bond between toxins and fat deposits is broken, your body can finally flush the toxins from your system. But if the body cannot flush those toxins, then it can't burn the fat deposits for energy and the wrap is essentially worthless.

The body "wrap" itself is designed to help you absorb more of the ingredients. For spa wraps and most at home wraps, people typically use terry cloth strips as the "wrap". First, the terry cloth strips are soaked in the solution for about 15 minutes.

Then and typically with the help of a spa tech or a very close friend, the strips are then applied over your bare skin where they must be left in place for about an hour to 90 minutes. Once the terry cloth strips are removed, the ingredients will continue to purge toxins and help your body eliminate fat deposits for up to 48 hours-depending on the quality of the wrap.

How to Identify and Buy Body Wraps That Work

Believe it or not, the biggest problem with bogus wraps isn't that they don't work (and they don't!), but that they actually make the problem worse. In order to save money, most scam or cheap wraps are made from synthetic ingredients. While these cheap body wrap ingredients are great for a company's bottom line, the problem is that your body doesn't "recognize" synthetic ingredients as easily as all-natural ingredients. And if your body can't recognize the body wrap ingredients, it will consider them to be "toxins".

Now when we are younger, the body can flush toxins quickly-as fast as you ingest them in most cases. But as we age, the body's ability to purge incoming toxins slows down and some of them end up getting stored in your skin cells-right next to fat deposits. In fact, these stored toxins are actually "bound" to the fat deposits.

So unless you first purge the toxins with an effective high quality wrap, then your body can NEVER burn those fat deposits for energy. But in the case of scam wraps made from synthetic ingredients, not only will they NEVER purge those stored toxins-they are actually adding new toxins to your problem!

So to avoid the ineffective wraps that can make problems even worse, here are two simple tips:

Buying Tip #1: Avoid Wraps Made from Synthetic Ingredients

While home wraps made from 100% all-natural ingredients might still not work as well as a spa body wrap if they aren't the right all-natural ingredients, the one certainty is that they won't make the problem worse like wraps made from synthetic ingredients. And if you happen to find 2 products both made with all-natural ingredients but need to know which is most likely to work well and produce the results you want and deserve, then see tip #2!

Buying Tip #2: Avoid Products that Require the "Wrap"

The fact is that most spa wraps and even many at home body wraps require a wrap for one reason and one reason alone: Because the body wrap ingredients are very weak. Now make no mistake: Even these weak ingredients can and will work when properly applied with terry cloth strips or a full body wrap. But, it is a major pain to try and apply the terry cloth strips yourself and an even bigger embarrassment to have some "friend" apply them for you. So for the best results possible and faster application times, look for home body wraps made from 100% all-natural ingredients that don't require the terry cloth strips or "wrap". These higher quality body wrap solutions can typically be added to a tub filled with warm water and then all you have to do is sit back and "soak-in" the ingredients.

Unfortunately, the question of whether body wraps actually work really does depend on the type of wrap you get (home vs. spa wrap), the ingredients it is made from, and whether a wrap is required or not.

I have also started as an ItWorks distributor and I love the products. They do give a lasting effect (skin tightening being one of them) - I have had personal experience of this and no reverse of results for 8 months so I'm pleased. In fact, I didn't join the team until I had used and loved the products. I think people get varying results because some reps "sell and run" and don't give people the proper aftercare instructions or support. The problem with this is, it de-values the brand. If people use the wraps properly then the results can be fantastic and lasting.

I am not one of these who has set the world on fire as a rep but I AM making money and it is growing. Its one of these things that you get out what you put in. I have been busy lately and so am creeping along. However, 3 of the ladies on my direct team have each become diamond rank within 3 months of joining (meaning they are on an average of $1900 a month from commissions) PLUS earned a $10,000 bonus. So there is some serious money to be made if direct selling is your thing. We have built a great team and have weekly training calls so you're not left out on your own to try to make money without knowing how.
