I've been working with Appen for the last year and I got an email from them today saying that they're letting me go because they've got all the data from me that they've needed. I've been relying on this too much, I no longer have any income at all. I don't know what to do and I'm panicking.

I've had a look at matched betting and I really don't understand it. It doesn't make any sense at all. I need to make around £200-250 a month because I have relied on the money for food.

Sorry to hear your time with appen has ended .
In regards to Matched Betting you best best is just to give it a go. It can seem very confusing when you are reading about it but actually doing it is FAR simpler. I would give the banner above a click and do the free trial, you’ll make around £45 while having your hand held throughout and can then see if it’s for you but you would be able to make your £250 target is FAR shorter time each month than you were with Appen

I'll give the free trial a go.

Realistically how much money can you make with this a month?

£500+

More once you get your bankroll to the £3000+ stage which you will do if you keep going with it :)

I'm going to try my hardest because I think right now it's my only option.

You might be getting quite a few questions from me so I apologise in advance. Thank you so much for your help, it is appreciated more than you can know :)

Haven’t been on here for ages but this caught my attention?

Probably wrong to hijack this status but how is anyone getting a £500 return on £3k ish outlay

Not doubting more intrigue

You use the £3000 to bankroll the matched betting offers. The £3000 isn't at risk, you are just using it to do the offer and from the offers you would make the £500 a month and then rinse and repeat. You don't even need £3000 to use to make that amoun each month it's just I like to have a bankroll of around that so that I can do whatever offers I want and for times like the Cheltenham Festival where I'm trying to make around £700 over the 4 days and have actually upped my bankroll to £3800 so I can do more offers

Cheers Jon after the demise of my Tesco Clubcard £5 deposit for 500 points etc

Then my good Roamler tasks at off licences dying seems this may be my next venture

Quite happily stick thousands in any account of risk free 20%+ return is immense

Well like I said you don't need thousands. i started with £60 and have never put anymore money in and have made over £40,000 from the 4+ years I've been doing it
