Picked up 305 points for one job ad yesterday - thats $3.05.

Made about £40 this week with this app - and off to London at the weekend so hope to make a decent amount then too.

Last Saturday I photographed a job advert in a local chemist and was surprised to be awarded 180 points for it. I thought the points ceiling on JobSpotter was 150.

Today I had a couple of app jobs in town so thought I would try to photograph a couple more job ads. First for a taxi company netted 262 points. Proceeded to take photos of around 20 more job ads in various places. A few netted the normal range of points 5-50ish but I count 10 scoring 180+. In all I added more than £20 to my earnings.

I cannot see any change to point values on the app or online. One possible reason for the change - my lifetime earnings on the app went over £100 with that 180 point snap on Saturday. This is of course speculation.

If the new points as awarded this week are the future then this becomes a decent earner!

You might want to check it out.
Interesting. I don't think it's anything to do with the £100 total earnings as I've been over that for a while and haven't had any above about 150 points. Maybe they have upped the rate, that would be nice. I haven't done any for a couple of weeks as I've been away so I'll have to see if I get any higher ones now.
PS the FAQs still say 150 points max

How odd, last month I was in Bruges and saw quite a lot of what looked like job adverts (couldn't read them!).

I thought I was a saddo getting Jobspotter out, thanks for making me feel better!
I don't consider it sad, I consider it wise!

Not sure if they have changed their pay structure, i just did a 109 pt shop and got £0.24 for it...

I tried to contact Jobspotter a few weeks ago regarding a rejection but it bounced, if anyone has a contact email address for them that would be great.

It'll be because someone else has already reported the same job.

Some jobs do only pay 5 points. It's usually the chain stores where the ads are on their corporate website anyway. I had a large pharmacy chain one the other day that only paid 5. On the other hand, I've had some pay over 300 which is interesting as according to their own FAQs the max is only 150! The points system is sometimes a bit baffling though.

As Andrew said the rejects are probably because someone else has submitted them, or it could be the photo wasn't considered good enough, or if you've previously submitted it yourself within a month.

As for contacting them, if the e-mail from the app isn't working, go to the Indeed website and try through there. Jobspotter belongs to Indeed which is where they post the ads we send.

Yes, just click on the Verify option on the bottom of the app. The pay rate is rubbish though. 10 points if I remember right for approving or rejecting about 40 pics

@L327tgc Contact them through the app, click on support then contact us and then appeal a rejection. I contacted them the other day as they said it didn't have the name of the store which it did. They answered within a day and gave me the points.

They do give 5 points if its a big chain that's advertising in all towns or someone has done it. 1 point is their lowest now.
