Cant say for sure but i doubt it very much... Apps are merely tools to do a job, your account is where all the important stuff is. If your phone broke and you had to buy a new one all your earnings would be right there when you downloaded the app and signed in

Im sure mabozza is right here, the credits belong to your account so if you reinstall at a later date your credits will be there.

Hi. Jobspotter app has been a big buggy for me lately in that every time I open it, it crashes. I have to close the app and reopen. I know that is not the same issue that you are having but maybe there are some ongoing issues? Can you try downloading the app again to see if that makes any difference?

The payments seem to be all over the place recently. I've had a few as low as 1 point which is around 0.7 pence! but I've also had ones like 234, 229 and the highest I've ever seen of 325 which is about £2.30
I can't see much logic to the payments at the moment and they certainly are not following their own guidelines in the FAQs so I've no idea what they are doing (and neither have they by the looks of it!)
Let us know if you get a reply, they never answered my last query.

I asked them but it was a waste of time, see the reply below.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Indeed.

Our algorithm uses several factors to determine the point value of a submission. We’re not able to discuss the specific factors that lead to the point value for any individual submission. We reserve the right to manage the points calculations at our discretion and we do not disclose the details of them.

We appreciate your feedback and we have forwarded it to the appropriate team for consideration. For your reference, here's a link to our Terms of Use.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

I will still contact them the more people that do the better. Also I may not do the 3p ones.

Don't see how you can be selective as you don't know what each job is paying until after it's been submitted and approved

From a couple of discussions with them I gleaned this info:

1 - where you get low paying pt totals this is usually because another user has uploaded that same image within the last three weeks. I was in London a few weekends ago and every job advert I found paid between 5-36 pts.
2 - You can repeat the job photos every month. This is handy if you are in a location where you are the lone user. There can still be variance in the points for the same job - sometimes even in this scenario I can get lower points but this is often mitigated by the higher scoring ones (200+)
3 - recruitment agencies are mostly fair game. There is one in my home town they won't accept images for but the rest are fine. These usually pay as well as the takeaways and restaurants (best pts in my experience).

Ooh, that's interesting to know. I always thought that recruitment agencies wouldn't be paid.

I read if another person took the photo before you they couldn't pay you at all.

A work friend and I both use Job Spotter and tell each other if we find an advert and both of us have been paid for the same job advert so it doesn't seem to be the case that you do not get paid if somebody else has taken the photo.

I have received some high points, all in 1 shopping centre in my lunch hour which was nice :) - 229 for a toy store, 194 for a second hand childrens store and 203 for a coffee and muffin place plus a few others around the 30-50 mark. All stores that are one offs and no chains which is why they are paying more. If I go to the main shopping centre down the road, they are all around the 5 point mark.

I wasn't aware of recruitment agencies so thanks for that one :)
