6 points for an independent bakery today!!!
Its very hit and miss at times i agree, but i tend to find when you balance it all out you end up getting more good than bad!

Remember everyone, jobspotter refreshes every month so you can go back for the same ads at your local shops time and time again.

PS: Im not employed by Jobspotter marketing team honest!

I had 4 yesterday that were 5 points, they were all in a shopping centre so I am guessing had been taken a few times before and a couple were in Chains. I then walked out of there and got 92 for an eyebrow shop, 33 for a sign in a recruitment window, 27 in the Royal Mail sorting office when I later picked up a letter and 52 for a vaping shop I walk passed on the way to the sorting office so it is possible to get more than 5...

Yes I understand that, I just wanted to let you know that it seems to be an issue in your area and it's not an overall issue with JobSpotter everywhere. Unfortunately, it appears that your area is one that looks like it's not a high point one. It's a shame there isn't anyway that you can get a clear explanation of how the point system works or why it is such low points in certain areas. The only thing I can think of is that there are a lot of people taking pictures in that area but really don't know...

I got 207 points from a hair salon and 80 points for a joke shop earlier today... And 5 points from a different salon.

Seems quite hit and miss to me.

Not sure if I'm having an excellent day today or they've changed their algorithms, but I've submitted 8 jobs today, 5 have been 170 points or above, and nothing less than 59 points. Definitely not complaining!

I had one last weekend after updating the app (not sure if this was the reason though!) that I got 278 points for and it was a restaurant but not a chain. I picked up 234 for a hairdresser Saturday girl advert and a Chinese takeaway got me 227 so I was glad I had a walk down one of the quieter high streets 10 mins walk from my flat! All the rest were not bad scores either so maybe the algorithms have been changed.. and I am definitely not complaining either!

Does anyone want to join in with your highest payment this month.

Mine was 207 points for barbers. Lowest was 5 points for chains.

Go on then, 291 for a steak house but I can only equal your 5 points for a Sue Ryder shop (I did get 1 point last month for a pharmacy that has a chain in the south!)

256 for a Chinese takeaway but various 5 pointers.

Most irritating was one that was erroneously rejected but got 205 points when I doubled back

Highest 321 for a new independent restaurant that is about to open.

I point is one US cent so if you multiply by 0.7 which is roughly the exchange rate then $3.21 = £2.25

I travel quite a lot for work and have found small towns and suburbs much higher paying than city centres.
