Yes it is! I must admit Jon I had my suspicions with this originally o_O But boy am I glad I took your advice here and had a go. I'm just taking it slowly at the moment and trying not to get myself in a muddle, lol. I'm monitoring everything carefully and taking the offers a couple at a time.

The greatest thing of all is that I'm a keen follower of sport, so this has added an extra depth of interest to my hobby! :) I'm even taking an interest in foreign football leagues now, so much so that I sat through the Granada vs Malaga game the other night, lol. I would never have done that before!

Cheers, lol yeh I thought it might be a bit risky betting on too many obscure markets. Don't wanna get gubbed before I even get off the ground! I will try to keep a lower profile as these next few weeks progress, probably keeping my bets to one or two leagues so that I look like a normal punter, lol.

Thanks so much for the link, I'll get on it! ;) I am literally tracking my earnings manually in a notepad file at the moment and storing screenshots of all the betting screens. Talk about doing things the hard way! :D

Hi Jon, just dropping by to let you know all is going very well for my first week. I placed 27 bets and made £484.44 since last Sunday.... wow!. I've been using the spreadsheet to keep everything organised, which has definitely helped to speed things up and keep on top of it all. Have made a couple of mistakes here and there but thankfully pure luck got me out of jail on those occasions.

I'm really enjoying my time at Profit Accumulator. I have only completed ten of the offers so far and so there is plenty left to get stuck in to!

Hope you're well and thanks again for all your help in getting me started :)

I know, it's amazing! I'm currently unemployed, so finding this new way to work from home is awesome. Can't wait to see what the next few weeks hold

Ah that's nice to hear that it's been able to help you out while you've been unemployed!

There's SO MUCH money to earn online, it's just a shame there's such much crap out there on the Internet and not evening comes over to TMS to find the decent info!

Haha! Yes I agree totally, I have been searching for ways to make money online for years and I knew there must be some valid ways buried underneath all the rubbish. This forum is a godsend for sure! So glad I found it :)

The only problem I have at the moment is waiting for all the withdrawals from the bookies to go in to my bank account before I can continue betting. I have about £1500 floating around in cyberspace at the moment (withdrawals and my Exchange banks). Transactions are probably delayed due to the bank holiday weekend, but at the moment I haven't actually got my hands on the profits I've made. It's a bit nerve-wracking lol

Wait till you really get into the weekends and you end up dropping around £2000 over the bookies / exchange like it's no money at all lol

Haha yeh I can imagine that :D I think once I've got my bank balance back together and I can actually see the profits in my account then it will give me the confidence to start moving more around. I know I've done everything right and tracked it all to the penny in Ultimatcher, so I'm sure it will all be fine. I can't wait to get going again now, it's quite addictive lol

I hope you don't mind but I'm going to add entries here from time to time, just as a kind of Diary to inform anyone reading of my progress.

Today I learned a new lesson when I met my first 'Unmatched Bet'. What is an Unmatched Bet you ask? Well when you go to place a bet (especially one with outside odds), take careful note of the amount that is underneath your lay odds on the Exchange (see below). It may be that there are not enough bets in the market to counter-wager your liability amount. This may mean that you cannot place your lay bet in time for the actual event.

This happened to me 5 minutes before a horse race and so I had to cancel my Lay bet  To make matters worse this was my Qualifying Bet and the Bookie's Terms were that my bet had to lose in order for me to earn the £25 free bet, therefore I was backing an outsider at 7/1!

Despite this I knew that when the race ended I would make 80% back on it anyway (thanks to my free token of the same value), so I would lose about £5 over all. Not too bad I thought, but I didn't account for what would happen next. As it happened Lady Luck turned up and my horse went and won the race! :)

So here I am £200 up and wiser for the trouble. Serendipity is alive and kicking my friends! :D

Hi guys. Thought I'd drop in to give you a quick update to let you know how I'm doing. My matched betting voyage has been going very well and I'm proud to announce I just went over the 1k marker today. I joined PA exactly 28 days ago and my profit total is currently at £1084.05. Sadly I did get a bit carried away last week having a bit of a flutter and I gambled away about £250 on horses  Despite the slight hiccup and hard lesson learned (don't gamble kids) I am making good money and so I'm a happy bunny!

My sub is coming up for renewal on PA so I'm about to sign up for my second month and I'm looking forward to seeing how things will compare with all of the easy offers out of the way. Bet365 was tackled this weekend which was a biggie, wagering £200 a time but some nice rewards in the offing. All good fun hehe ;)

Onwards and upwards peeps! :D

Great to see Matched Betting is still working out well for you. £1000+ is a great amount to make so quickly

Cheers Jon, yes I can now testify to your claims of the PA Gravy Train :D I am however finding now that the later offers are a bit more complex (with the wagering terms and such) so I think things will be slowing down a little bit. I completed the Bet365 offer previously mentioned which meant moving about £1000 between markets for wagering, but it made me £140 which was pretty amazing!

I'm also looking in to Betfair trading now which seems like a nice little earner if you can perfect it. Have you ever tried it mate?

Personally I've not done it but there's a VERY successful thread about it on the PA forum ;)

Ooh nice, can you hit me up with a link?

I've been playing around with it quite a bit and making some smallish profits, mostly because I realised I could follow a few trends and skim some money between the differing odds. I could use a quicker, more efficient method though so I'm considering the software route.

In the meantime matched betting is still going swell! :)

How are you getting on with Trading?

Would you say it is more involved than MBing? Does it require more time at your computer? Is it something that could be done for a few minutes in the evening or at the weekend do you think?
