:D thank you [member=1733]sherlock[/member] ! The Tiger Who Came To Tea is one I've got in progress - just looking for a small tea set to include in it - got a gorgeous Tiger though!
I would do We're Going On A Bear Hunt but finding soft toys of people second hand is a nightmare... Well the boys are! Plenty of soft toy girls but no boys - they must exist though no?
I love the story of The Jolly Postman, one of my favourites when I was a kid!

The story sacks are proving popular in a childminding resource group I keep sharing them in!

I've now sold and been paid for 8 of them totalling £125 with another 2 pending payment at £31. Problem is one of those says her dad has paid by PayPal (about 2 hours ago) and it's not showing in my account... Isn't PayPal meant to be instant?

That is great. Glad they are so popular.

That's what I'm thinking, I definitely typed it in the message correctly - as that was a worry!

You could ask them for an email address and then raise an invoice for them. Then they just have to click, sign in and pay and it'll come to you instantly.

I'll bear that in mind for the future - they sent me a screenshot of proof of payment and the 'm' had been missed off of .com - so thankfully a simple fix ^_^

I'm not managing to keep up with this diary in any particular order haha XD so a bit of an update

Story Sacks
--------------------------

Even though I've sold 11 of these now - I have spent a far bit and am now just coming into the black with them - I've spent £161.82 (this includes postage) and sold £198.50 worth - so a total profit so far of £36.68. I have another 8 that need the toys washing/pictures taking and uploading without buying anymore so a potential income there of about £120 (based on £15 each)

Income that will happen in June
----------------------------------------

I've posted this in the June moneymaking thread but will pop it here too:

Cashed out with Prolific Academic: £22.25
Paid from uTest: £3.25
Submitted invoice for Leapforce: £55
Pending from Paypal for story sacks: £41.13

Total for June so far: £121.63

How much time are you spending [member=362]Kelzky[/member] to make £36 quid?

Time spent so far has been quite a lot [member=1]Jon@TheMoneyShed[/member] - I've attended about 8 boot sales, which to be honest is also time out the house for me and my family that is enjoyable and I've picked up a lot of cheap stuff for my daughter and the new baby at the same time.

I've done some printing/laminating of resources for the sacks which is my own choice thats taken a few hours - I could cut out that time as it's probably not necessary. I was posting them in lots of selling groups which took about 20mins a day but am now only posting in one childminding group when I have a bunch to sell (that has seen nearly all my sales so far), but because the group is all across the county it does mean I need to post which also takes time.

The time spent so far has equaled 19 finished story sacks (11 which are sold) which if all sold at £15 each (some I do a pound or two more) is £285... taking off costs is £123.18 potential total profit for total time spent.
I also have bought things for future story sacks so some only need 1 or 2 more items to complete which won't take up as much time. I think it is worth it for the time and I find it quite enjoyable too... Plus the teacher in me is pleased to know that the kids that get these will be benefiting from them in terms of education :)

I have realised this a little - but at the same time it has got me out the house, which I will need to do for my own sanity when baby boy arrives XD

We'll see... I'll continue it for now, well after the boy is born as I can't physically cope with anymore boot sales at the moment. I'll see how it goes, any income for us is good at the moment as my partner hasn't found a new job yet. Plus it's given me a sense of purpose that I've been missing out of my life lately.

Freecycle/Freegle or local Free Facebook sites would be a good way to start, either posting a wanted or just keeping an eye out :D I don't mind keeping an eye out my end then sending you any for the postage cost :D

If you enjoy it good for you. :)
Shame you could not find one place where you could source all you need.
What about checking online like Ebay and also looking on Amazon in case anyone is selling something you need that is secondhand but cheap enough for you. Least you could get items delivered that way and save yourself a bit of time.
What Chammy said above is good as well Freecycle and local Facebook Sites.
:)

It's been so long since I posted in here that I got a warning whether I was sure I wanted to reply lol

Anyway I was catching up on my finances and discovered that since May this year I have made £400 profit (not including matched betting). I'm pretty pleased with this considering I've done pretty much nothing in half of August and September due to new baby.

I'm planning on starting up matched betting again after we exchanged contracts and moved house, otherwise it's been utest, Leapforce, my story sacks and chalkboards that have added to this. I'm hoping I'll be able to add Usborne to the list of my main sources of income but we'll see... 8)

Since one of my New Years resolutions is to earn at least £200 a month I thought I ought to update/revive my diary so I can keep a total going ;D

I hope to use a combination of the following 5 ways to make this money - in the order that I suspect will earn the most:

1. Matched Betting
2. Profit accumulator affiliate scheme
3. uTest (not 100% sure if I'll be able to manage this one but we'll see)
4. Selling crafts
5. Usborne

The order above will also be how I prioritise my time... as much as I loved doing the few Usborne parties before Christmas it takes a lot of work to try and get those parties - plus having moved house I need to re establish a mummy network first XD

Good luck! I'm sure you'll achieve that.! Are you still doing Leapforce too?
