That's a shame :( I don't suppose you want to be tied to X amount of hours (I think that's how it works?) when you've got two small children?!

Yes me too [member=362]Kelzky[/member] which is why I was wondering ;D
I'm trying to decide what to do too. I wasn't sure whether to try for another project or do the exam again.

It was partly that that caused my inactivity [member=920]katykicker[/member] - when baby boy was small I didn't really have any evening time (well none I wanted to spend on Leapforce anyway!) and by the time I was claiming my full evenings back they'd booted me 8) I don't like being required to do x amount of work in x time (unless it's crafty) so unless I get desperate I'll probably leave it!

What else are you thinking of going for? It was good solid work but in my opinion boring as hell hahaha

I think that is the issue with me. I just find it so boring. I've already done two years of it with LB in the past so I don't know if I've exhausted my boredom cells.

I've applied for another project but we will see.

So here we are again - just read back my last few updates here... I did manage £200 a month for a little while and then well I was just living life.

Life... Well life... Without going in to too much detail I wasn't happy - nothing significant happened to cause this but a bit of a downward spiral caused by mind demons. I receded both online and in real life, desperately trying to find ways to feel better and also to feel like I'm more than just a mum.

Things started to get better with Slimming World - about 10 weeks ago I got a leaflet through the door and I'm not sure what it was but I decided I was ready to do something about my weight (body image was contributing a lot to my state of mind). I've lost 1st 4lb so far and starting to feel a difference which I'm really pleased with.

Next was the "more than just a mum" and my (lack of) social life. I started looking at "newish" direct sales companies - I know Jon I just don't learn my lesson ;). Hoping to find one new enough to be able to be one of the ones higher up the chain - this is why I posted the Love Aroma thread. I also looked at Just For Tiny People (profit from sales only) but at the end of the day I wanted something more rewarding and creative.

So after much agonising over the choices and deciding what would be right vs what I wanted I have decided to go back to something I've done before - which is face painting. It's creative, rewarding, I can do it on weekends as much or as little as I want and, as long as I make back my initial starting costs, my partner has said we don't need additional income so I can have fun with it - no pressure. I've already booked myself to go to a face painting convention in October ;D which I'm looking forward to!

I'll try to be more active (and helpful) here again, hope you're all doing well <3

Hi [member=362]Kelzky[/member] I was wondering about you just yesterday!!!

Great to see you back and well done on the weight loss. Best of luck with the face painting, what better job than one where the money is for fun things AND you get to cheer up children at parties!!

Thanks guys ^_^ I've got a way to go on the weight loss front but am hoping to be able to reach my target somewhere around Christmas time... but we'll see!

Suffering a bit from post holiday blues today - we only went to Newquay for a week but now my partner is back at work today and I'm feeling a bit lonely :'(

I'm hoping to get my face paint kit ordered today, then I'll be able to practice and start looking at events to attend. Also need to design myself a logo and some business cards!

[member=920]katykicker[/member] I quite often wonder how you are and of course your little lady! My son had his first birthday in June and my daughter is 3 next month - they're getting older too fast!
