Hi, does anybody have any experience with Kidstart? I joined a few months ago and have used it a few times. I have found that it takes a long time for your cashback to be approved, just wondered whether anyone else has had this problem with them.
Thanks :)

Can't say I've EVER heard of this company before

Is it just a regular cash back site?

Yes, I think so. Its aimed at parents to earn the cashback for their children, I received an email about it shortly after the birth of my second child. You click through from the site and earn cashback on purchases then you earn money into your 'kiddybank', you can withdraw the cashback into your own bank account or you can set it up to withdraw into your childrens accounts. You can also invite family and friends to use the site and save money for your children. The website is www.kidstart.co.uk

It sounds like it's not as slick as some of the other cashback sites, but definitely might be worth looking at for some of my friends who are new parents. I'll email them some of the info. Thanks !

This sounds very helpful as it evens pays 2% cashback on all Amazon purchases and 15% cashback on all eBay purchases!

I haven't seen another cashback website that gives you cashback on Amazon purchases!

Unfortunately I can't sign up as I don't have any children yet. Can I sign up anyway and earn for my children's futures now?

I will definitely have children in the future.

Yes you can. This is from the website -
You can register as a member and earn KidStart Savings even if you do not have any children. If you are expecting, you can either accumulate your savings in your KidStart account until the child is born; or register yourself as the child until you have the child's details. KidStart Savings can also be donated to a school of your choice or to one of a number of children's charities.
Please use my referral code if you do decide to sign up :)

Thanks.

I've tried to sign up, but it says my email address is already registered? I definitely haven't signed up as never even heard of them, but clicked on forgotten password link anyway to send a reminder email and nothing has come through. Very odd :-\

I've been using it for a few weeks and it does seem to take a while for the transactions to track but they all seem to show up on there. It is just remembering to get into the habit use it before a purchase as I keep forgetting, my parents signed up but so far not remembered to got through the site.

It is handy for Amazon though as most other cashback sites only pay out for selected departments at certain times of the year.

I've been using it for a couple of months and as others have said it is very slow at showing the transactions from tracked to payable. I use it for Amazon and Ebay as TCB and Quidco don't tend to offer cb for these or if they do it's for items I don't buy. I did read something on the site about having minimum £10 payable before they will transfer to the child's savings. Which if you've got more than one child(in my case 3) is going to take a while to cashout.

Could you not transfer it all into one account, then split it yourself if you want to cashout faster? Just an idea.

Quick question, I noticed there's Amazon on KidStart, I contacted Amazon to see if this is allowed and they said no.

Why would KidStart offer it if it's not allowed?
