Has anybody here managed to earn decent money with any of these type of jobs? I recently started Kleeneze after seeing a facebook friends alleged £500 a week profit roughly plus it was only £30 to join, but based on the prices of these products compared to eBay etc i just don't see if it's possible

I'm highly against earning money from the friends and family and main earning is only by bring more people to the market. I just cannot do this to my family and friends.

If i want to buy some dusters and polish do I:

a: go to the pound shop
b: look on amazon or ebay
c: go to any supermarket in the county
d: stay at home and wait until someone to drops an overpriced catalogue of cleaning products on my doorstep.

in 2018 the answer is never going to be d. Not for me anyway.

When you can earn more getting friends onboard than actually selling products, you realise that getting friends onboard is the actual 'job' and selling products is an after-thought.

DTD Selling is an old method and not really appropriate in today's day and age. It might still work is some geographical locations however in a densly populated island such as ours, with Poundlands and Amazon offering next day delivery, why would anyone get involved in any of the catalogue selling businesses?

Your facebook friends are lying about taking home £500 a week. I think, it probably IS possible to take home £500 in one week if you managed to con sell to ALL your friends and it all goes through in a week. However, the next week, will any of them want to buy any of your tat quality products?

I do honestly wish people well when they attempt these things. I occasionally see stuff on my FB feed about being a 'boss babe' or 'My utility bills pay themselves - why do people still pay their own bills?'. They all point to the same stuff - pyramid referral schemes where they tease things out on FB to get friends to contact them. It helps with the shpeel as they can legitimately say, "You contacted me...I didn't contact you. And luckily I've just had a space come up on my team but I've got a few people interested.....You do want to make an extra £200 a week for almost no work, don't you? I can turn the others down if you are serious about this."

One of the great things (and there are many!) about The Money Shed is that all this resource is for free. @Jon 's toolkit will get you £700-£1000 a month. It will be less stress, less hassle and wont alienate your friends. You also get out of it what you put in. And no-one will be 'suggesting' you buy the 'Mega-Dealz Wonder-Kit' for £150, so that you can hit your commission target and then split the kit into small samples as 'everyone is doing it'.

Be realistic in your goals and you'll hit them. Look for support in here and suggestions and go through with them. You wont earn £1000s though job-apps, you wont earn £1000 through Vypr, you wont earn £1000 through surveys, you wont earn £1000 through blog adverts, you wont earn £1000 through TopCashBack; But you WILL earn £30 here, £50 there, £150 somewhere else, £200 from another place, another £20 in surveys and £10 of cashback....Over £400 in a month without having to break a sweat.

So when you see these people at all these big awards events, what's really happening and how did they do so good? because i totally get what you are all saying, but with these kinds of jobs you always see them showing off some big awards night

9 times out of 10 I would say that person has got the big novely sized cheque you are seeing but that point the guys above are making is that

Say 10,000 people join Kleeneze and one person has got the large cheque worth £5000 while the rest haven't but believe they all will even though every year they only award the one giant cheque

Then say 10,000 go and do say Matched Betting and ALL 10,000 get £5000 cheques

Then also say 20,000 people work for Leapforce doing Web Search Evaluator work and ALL have £7000 cheques

The first requires you to harass your online friends' selling / recruiting, has no set hourly wage and even though people keep turning up for the big awards ceremony you continue to only see a handful of people rewarded

the 2nd only requires you to spend a few minutes a day to earn that £5000

the 3rd pays you an hourly rate for your time that is way above the UK Minimum wage.

The more people at the awards ceremony for any MLM company that WORSE it is for you as it means things are even more diluted!

You will most likely lose money rather than earn money. I think people who claim to earn money from these things are not been honest with themselves with how much they spend. Once you factor in paying for products, paying money on social media ads, brochures, prizes for comps they run on fb and parties etc they are probably coming out with very little or in negative. Plus a lot of these schemes encourage distubutors to try the products so a lot of them will be their own biggest customer. They will then keep buying to keep there commissions bonus.

Apparently they don't get the money from the big cheque in one go. Its paid over years IF they keep at that level. So they will probably not see all that money anyway!

I grew up near the original kleeneeze factory and the kleeneeze man with his van full of brushes was a familiar sight in my childhood. I think they employed a lot of disabled exservice men. In those days the brushes were quite good quality and I think people could make a reasonable living going door to door.

Now however kleneeze products are very expensive compared to pound shops and supermarkets. The factory has long since disappeared. Incidently Kleeneeze was founded by a chap called Harry Crook - just saying.

Back in the day, I had a go at Amway. (Are they still around?) The first month, it wasn't too bad, as all of my friends and family wanted to buy stuff. (Probably just to help me out, not cos they wanted the expensive tat)

The next month, nobody wanted anything and I got grief from my upline for not hitting targets, because if I didn't hit my target, he didn't get his cut!

Then there were the motivational meetings - think happy clappy, you can do it bunkum! I found them absolutely awful in the extreme. I went to one and vowed never to return.

You were told you had to buy the monthly motivational cassette tapes, to keep you looking forward (See, told you it was back in the day) and you had to pay for the catalogues.

Then next it was trying to rope in your friends and family by holding meetings in your own home, telling them all how they could get rich if they sign up.

One month later, I rolled up my Amway catalogue and told my upline to stick it in a place where the sun doesn't shine!

This story isn't at all depressing lol

MultiLevelMarketing jobs are the basic equivalent of a 'position' with no hourly rate and only commission.

Would anyone apply for one of those in the 9-5 world in 2018??

I kinda doubt it

yet in the world of 'facebook ads' it's an AMAZING LIFE CHANGING OPPORTUNITY!!

I once worked for Betterware as a manager. With this you push catalogues through doors and go back to see if there are any orders. Some of the agents did earn around the £50 a week and the job could be organized around children. I started off doing this and was offered a management position. I am going back over 20 years now and my regular income was between £400 to £600 a week. That was not bad then and paid for my first new car

See that business model at least had a human interaction element to it

Now it’s just spam / lie / gloss the truth all over Facebook and hope someone takes your bait!

I do know people who have earned money from these things. But the amount of effort spent vs money earned puts it way below minimum wage

So......

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-43746835

One of Britain's oldest home shopping companies has gone into administration.
Kleeneze, best known for selling household and beauty products through its network of door-to-door sellers, said it had ceased trading on Thursday and 140 jobs are at risk.
But there is also a question mark over the future of 5,000 independent distributors who sell the products.

I did Kleeneze way back in the day it was hard work but I had a lot of customers and a few recruits. I made some money but outgoings were high too. I hated the catalogue loss rate. I just got bored in the end. It looks like it may be easier now it's more online now. Some people will find it overpriced but items do sell.

That's gonna be a hell of a drop in wage for them from '£3000'

Wonder what they are gonna do...
