You need to find pretty close matches in the first place to make it profitable. I use the Oddsmatcher on PA to find close matches and then have to go on Will Hill to see what it’s boosted to and then check if it’s worth putting the bet on, I usually try and get at least £8-£10 when putting on a £200 bet but you may need a good bank behind you to be able to lay it off depending how high the odds are.

I also use the Price Boost thread to get tips that others have found. In both cases you usually have to pretty quick once you’ve found them though. If you see something on the forum from 10mins ago chances are the odds will have moved and it won’t be profitable anymore.

It took me a while to get into it all, the 1st one I did I forgot to click the boost button... was so annoyed!! And there are some days when there aren’t much matches to be fair. Stick with it though, you’ll get there!

I seem to have picked the worst weekend ever to get serious about moving on from sign up offers, lol. I'm not going to be deterred, however. I have some cash and information flow issues which I need to sort out so that will keep me busy until next weekend. As it goes, I am learning all the time so that's good.

I can set myself up with two or even three screens open at once so that will make it easier to get on bets, I did notice that trying to use Will Hill on my mobile was a pain in the butt so perhaps I'll try the suggestion that was made to transmit it onto a bigger setup.

Thanks for the tips, much appreciated.

@Parselmouth if you Google "william hill bet boost" you can get the Will Hill boost on a desktop version which is so much easier than using your phone - that was a game changer for me when I discovered that!! Using my mobile to place bets is such a pain and it would also change odds to fractional everytime I logged in...ggrr!

I don't know if I am missing something obvious (very likely) but I am trying to work out how to make profit from the William Hill price boosts. Even with the price boost, the odds on the exchange are higher, so how is it possible to make any profit by laying off? Am i doing the wrong calculation?

At the moment there isn't much going on and I can't find good matches either. You need to look for 97% or more and preferably at least 2 odds in order to make money from the William hill daily boosts.

I generally make a bit less from their boosts (£3-4), but also not betting the max as I think I have been sailing close to the wind with them recently and trying to look more like a regular punter.

this weekend is a particularly slow weekend, it's been a difficult one for everyone I think! I have started building a list of regular offers, so for example the skybet bet £25 get £5, I know it's not a lot, but I do think you have to get used to bigger bets for smaller return on reload, it's just the way it is.

I've started the list today, and worked on around 80% profit from the offers and that's up to £34 per week profit so far. I know that's not much, given I've done over £1000 in 3 weeks, but I plan to keep trying to expand that list so its like my bread and butter of matched betting. I did only start it today and that's over 6 bookies only, and not inc any boosts, accas, refunds...

I've also found it helpful to aim for £50 a day, over 5 days a week. Anything more is a bonus... its been possible everyday so far...

That's a great idea. I think I'm going to create myself a to do list and hopefully make my betting quicker and quicker.

my spreadsheet is my matched betting life!! I record everything on, I'm hopeful to expand my regular offers page. I found it helpful to go check out promos in each bookie site I go in and pick up and valuable regular offers, one is for for 4 weeks only but I've just noted the dates.

these are in my list so far;
betstars
coral
bet365
dabblebet
sky bet
sky vegas

Thanks for all the suggestions, all very useful.

I have made a spreadsheet with all my open bookie accounts so I can keep track of where the money is, and what activity I have on the go. I am very good at forgetting what I have to do next, and I was finding that just writing it down wasn't a good method of catching them all.

However I am going to make another one with the daily/weekly offers so I can bet them in a more systematic way.

My bank overall stands at around £700, and I started with around £200 so am nicely in profit. However, it's not really enough when you're trying to do multiple different things and cover the lays in different exchanges. I have around £250 in Betfair and am starting to build up my Smarkets and Matchbook reserves. I put another £100 in from my main household account to my MB account yesterday, but that will take a couple of days to go in so I can't start playing with that yet.

Patience is the key. lol

If you are on PA out the reload page into “calendar mode” and you will find it gives you pretty much what you are looking for :)

Thanks, I have had a look at that page and it is very helpful but it's a bit too full on for me at the moment.

I'm making myself a plan for regular offers that I can manage on the size of bank I have, keep track of what I have done and remind me of what I need to do in order to complete them.

I think if Chelts taught us anything it's just how much money/value there is in price boosts.

Those dedicated threads for them on PA / OM are worth their weight in gold!!

Have you noticed any issues with plumping £200 on boosted odds though @Ani - Not sure if you should work your way up to that amount to look a bit less of a bonus hunter lol

@Jon No issues so far with the Will Hill boosts, but who knows when the next gubbing is coming, Ive been doing them almost every day since January, not all at £200 but still, I know I do them a lot. I'm probably going to ease off for the rest of the month given how well I've been doing!

I just did a check of my account and adding up all the bets I've done with Will Hill I've only lost £10 with them, so I'm hoping I'm not on their radar! Am sure there are loads more punters out there winning more money than me that they should cut off - haha!
