Just been looking through some FB local selling sites. Some of the titles do nothing to help buyers or sellers. Things like, table, all without anything about size, condition etc. It saves a lot of hassle for both parties if the basics are given in the title and description!

I think it's because they aren't resellers they are just people flogging stuff and 9 times out of 10 they just want the damn thing gone so detailed descriptions aren't high on their list. On the plus side for people like you though it probably means people are undervaluing items that you could then get and relist on ebay!
I think it’s because if it’s furniture most people save themselves the effort and wait until they’re sure someone wants it for the price they’ve set before they go and measure it for them. Always seems that way in my case anyway.

If it's furnature, then you go to their house to collect it so they assume, the buyers gonna come round, give cash in hand anyway. So he can see it then.
