looking for a domain? Dont just check availability, check whats come up on the search engines..

...I want to start a blog about the daily chit chat in the office where I work. Got a domain at the moment but it doesnt really sum up what the blog will be about. So, as we are usually referred to as 'the office ladies' I checked that as a domain. Yep, available. LUCKILY before clicking to register it, I thought I would see what is on the first page of google with 'office ladies'... porn sites, that's what!
Similar situation as few years ago, I had an ebay shop selling plus size ladies clothes. Had an idea of setting up a proper online shop using the ebay shop name. . Checked google search with the shop name -unskinny clothing.... porn sites and a fan club dedicated to some group who had a 'hit' with Unskinny Bop, a song about sex without condoms.
So back to the drawing board for domains!

People will search 1000001 terms when finding your content and not just “the office ladies”. People very rarely put the money Shed into google to find this site usually they will find it by searching for content which this site contains if that makes sense.

Also your seo would have nothing to do with adult content so I don’t see if ranking alongside it long term
