Hi - I am currently a stay at home mum but from August both my children will be in school so I am looking to earn £400-500 a month from home if possible.

I'm looking for some recommendations for sites that would best fit my skills and time available. I know matched betting is a great earner but I don't want to do that just now as we are thinking of moving in the next year, so don't want to affect our chances of getting a mortgage!

At the minute I'm signed up for:
Prolific - love this site and get fairly regular studies from here, hoping it will pick up even more when students are back at university after Summer.
Neevo - I've done one voice recording task with this that is still open, but I have reached the maximum of 240 tasks so don't want to do anymore. Not sure how regular this work is or when I'll get paid!
Intellizoom - I've only been able to complete one survey, I keep getting declined for these. I have completed my practice study and it says the team are currently reviewing this so hopefully I will get more studies once the review is complete?
Voxpoxme - really enjoy this, just waiting to reach the £10 threshold so I can cash out.

I'm not interested in doing anything creative like writing articles/blogging but I am very quick at typing - are there any recommended sites for data entry or audio transcription?

I could also probably do mystery shopping as I'm in and out shops fairly often, but wouldn't like to do any merchandising jobs. I downloaded Roamler and felt there was a lot to do and sometimes you have to announce your visit etc - I'd much rather be anonymous!

I could probably do a bit of reselling, as I have sold a lot of our household items on ebay before so fairly familiar with this.

Any recommendations would be really welcome. I'd also like to know what steps I take to register myself as self employed, what records I would need to keep regarding my earnings and dates when things need to be submitted etc. Do I register as self employed right now and then submit my earnings at a later date? I'm really not sure, all new to me.

Anyway, thanks for reading if you've got this far. I'd really like to make a go of this as the thought of going back to working in a shop or office fills me with dread!

Hey @Cashcow1987

Great to have you on here and posting.

Data Entry Ideas here - https://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/how-to-find-data-entry-jobs/

There's a lot of money to be made from the likes of Shepper, Roamler etc and your confidence will grow the more tasks you do

Get on the Lionbridge tasks like Social Media rating (£300+ a month for 10mins work a day) and the ACE Mystery Shopping tasks (another £200+ a month once you return the items after you've reviewed them)

Registering as self employed info here

All I would say is look at all the different threads on here, ask questions, get involved etc. Everyone on here wants to help you earn the absolute most you possibly can ;)

Thanks for getting back to me! I had actually signed up for Lionbridge a while back but the job was for Online Maps Analyst and I really couldn't get my head around it and never sat the exam. Would definitely be more interested in the social media rating and mystery shopping tasks but not sure if I've shot myself in the foot by not continuing with the Online Map Analyst role :eek:

Nah you'd be fine to apply for those regardless of your map experience ;)

There is Rev which is transcription work if you are a fast typist. I have done a few jobs on there but you don't earn much to start with but can work your way up to the better paid jobs.

Hi and welcome,

Don’t give up on IntelliZoom. I get declined for loads too, and you don’t get surveys every day, but I’d say last week I did about 4, and they’re like £6 each, and took about 5 minutes each. Some take 10 mins, some can take 1 minute. I opened an Etsy store and stopped doing everything else apart from IntelliZoom, because it’s so easy. Make sure you get notified via email when they send a study because if you leave it too long you will miss the chance. Some have to be done on mobile, some on computer. Takes 3 weeks for the money to come through. Also when answering the questions to qualify I always try and answer with what I think they want me to say. Are you an employer? Yes. How many employees does your company have? 100,000 :ROFLMAO:

And also I’m being serious but how do you feel about Adult Chat work? I’d have a look at that thread on here if you’re ok with it. You could definitely make £400 per month from that alone.

Good luck

Thank you guys - I have actually started to do some matched betting, don't think we will be applying for a mortgage until December/January so I can probably safely do this for a couple of months without it affecting our application! After this I'll be looking at Intellizoom, Rev, Prolific and Appen I think.

Do you think it's possible to make a permanent part time income from online work? I'm trying to convince my husband that I can make as much money doing online work as I would from working part time in admin or a supermarket (which is what I've done before) but he is very sceptical!

Thanks again,
Marie.

Yes easily - do you have a ball park figure for how much you are looking to earn each month from home?

Yeah about £400-500 per month would be ideal. I have a bit of social anxiety so the thought that I could make money from home without the exhausting social interactions/workplace politics and commute is very appealing to me :ROFLMAO:

That sort of amount wont' be a problem at all ;)

If you can get on the social media rating work for Lionbridge that will bring in £300 a month alone for about 10mins work a day!

Hey @Cashcow1987

Just checking in and was wondering how things were going. I imagine you are probably a dab hand at the old Matched Betting by now!
