M&S are rolling out there Mobile Pay Go feature in their M&S app to skip queuing. It can be found in 'More' section bottom right of the navigation. If it's your first shop you will be given the option to add a referral code, please consider using 
511023796 when prompted to get £1 off a £5 minimum spend. You need to be inside an M&S store that accepts Mobile Pay Go. I will also get £1 as well, so thank you.
As a Sparks card holder I had an offer for 25% off a spend up to £45 using Mobile Pay Go feature. You should be able to combine the £1 off and 25% offers, making a nice saving.
