Hi everyone,

I'm new here so please be gentle ☺ I have received an email from M Turk saying I'm not suitable but they can't say why.... considering that I only gave them my email and name, I wonder what their criteria is?? I'm thinking it may be because I don't purchase many things on Amazon??

MTurk is American isn't it. Last time I looked they only offered payment in amazon.com vouchers, not amazon.co.uk

It may well be that they are not recruiting anyone from the UK at the moment. The fact that they only pay in Amazon.com vouchers made it a non starter for me.

You could try clickworker where you can access the UHRS jobs, assuming they are still accepting registrations for that. Its not very user friendly but once you are on UHRS there's usually a steady stream of (low paid) tasks like checking search engine results and everyone's favourite the Does the webpage contain porn tasks. Paid in Euros into paypal so easily convertible to £. Occasionaly get the odd roamler esque job too, which although rare are much higher paying.

My affiliate link, should you be inclined to try it is https://www.clickworker.com/clickworker/?utm_source=1204394&utm_campaign=CW4CW&utm_medium=email

I had the same a few months ago. I know there's a few people from the UK who use it but I believe they've now stopped accepting non-Americans. America first and what not. Blame Trump!

I can second clickworker. It takes a while to get your head around exactly what they want for UHRS but once you've qualified it's quite quick and easy to earn money. With proper effort I can make about $10 an hour, although I usually don't give it my full attention so get nowhere near that. I also tend to do the odd ten minutes here and there on it as well which doesn't help, although it can be boring so this approach is better for me!

I just signed up to MTurk - now I've found out about the .com vouchers I'm glad I haven't gone any further with it. Shame they don't have an equivalent service for the UK. Or do they?

I've got Clickworker on my list to have a look at but I don't think they had any vacancies last time I checked.

I was able to sign up to Clickworker after all, only to have my account immediately deactivated because I forgot I opened one a couple of years ago. Oops! Emailed them to see if they can sort it out.

Oops. Clickworker support are usually pretty good at sorting things out like that. I had my UHRS account on there deactivated. A quick email and it was sorted out within a day, I think.

Yes they gave me the benefit of the doubt and sorted it. I felt a bit told off though
