are all you savvy folk doing print on demand producing face masks then? I would have thought that's where the BIG MONEY is for the next month or two!
I have masks up on Teepublic redbubble and have sold some but the profit margin isn't great on them. I'm more excited by Amazon Merch being back. I currently have a trending pop socket and have quadruple the number of sales of my previous best selling month already. I should have enough sales for a tier up next month.
You can up the margins on Redbubble - think ours are at 40/50% and doing well. How are you finding Amazon Merch? I REALLY need to get my wife's stuff up on there!
You can use Canva. Affinity designer is good too and it has a free trial and is half price until the end of this month. There's also a phone app called Over which is good that also has a free trial.GIMP looks daunting to use. Can we use canva instead?
It can be a good idea to start with Redbubble while you learn the basics since Amazon has an application process and it's currently not accepting applications due to the Coronavirus. Plus if you get rejected you're not meant to reapply although there might be a work around. Start with Redbubble, learn the design guidelines, copywrite rules etc and then when you're ready to apply to Amazon you're more likely to be successful.Just a little question - have read most of the thread so off to investigate GIMP next.
Is it better to start on redbubble etc before approaching Amazon Merch?
Am very much branching out lol, my mum has now mastered matched betting and bless her is beavering away actually making face masks. I wish I was practical like her. But thankfully I did inherit some of her artistic side so looking at this as an option.
Congrats on getting your first design up.
Just made a store and put my first design up. I was trying to add it to check out to see how much delivery was but then I press check out it just brings me to an error page?
Thanks, do you have a store?Congrats on getting your first design up.
I do have a Teepublic store but it's third for me after Amazon and Redbubble. I'm not sure why you can't find your design. I never had that problem.
Do you mean when you click on your storefront there is nothing under the designs tab?
Did you use any tags that might be infringing on copywrite or a trademark? Even if your design isn't infringing if you use the wrong word in your tags that can possibly lead to your design being removed.
Yeah, celebrity names, TV shows, films, games etc could get your design flagged and removed. Teepublic and Redbubble both have a lot of fan art, parody and straight up copyright infringing stuff so it can be confusing as to what is allowed. They aren't great at enforcing their copyright system but some words or phrases will get flagged by the system and get your design removed.
