Hey StevenP15! I've noticed you have not posted any updates on your freelance writing since May. How's the rest of the year been going for you in terms of saving money? I could use a bit of inspiration at the moment aha
Steve's been at Uni

I used him for writing until the summer and have used him for some more writing in the past week or so since he's been back home!

He's great at what he does, if you ever need a Freelance writer I can't recommend him enough!

Hi! Apologies with the delay in responding to you. I’ll be honest and say that I’ve just not had the time/totally forgot that I had started a thread about this!!

I’ve been doing a lot of freelance writing and although not amazing amounts of money I’d said I’ve earned at least £1000 this year. My writing has been on and off, being busy at university hasn’t helped but I do it when I can. I’m glad to say that this site hasn’t definitely helped boost my income, writing for a few people from this site has brought in the bulk of my writing income.

Going forward I will continue to write any articles that come my way. I’m in the process of creating a website for my writing, hoping that a more professional approach will bring in more clients.

If this is something you’re looking into then I would definitely recommend it. I started off writing on sites like Fiverr and Upwork, and although I don’t use those now, it’s a good way to get your foot in the door.

Hope this gives you the motivation to get cracking! Give me a shout if you have any questions :)

Since we are a few weeks into 2020 I thought I'd do another update.

So since the near year I have actually managed to get some stuff done, which is a nice surprise.

I have created my freelance writing website which has been up and running for a few days now. It's not completely where I want it to be, but it's a start. I'm hoping that with a more professional approach I can land some more clients.

With my site up and running I am now trying to drive clients to the site. I have been getting in contact with blogs asking if they need my assistance with writing, after sending 20 emails I have received 2 maybes. So that's not bad.

Alongside my freelance writing I am still picking up app tasks here and there with a bit of traditional mystery shopping thrown in for good measure.

Well done, with hard work, working smart and being consistent, things will only get bigger and better .
Best of luck.

Snow is coming!!!
Took me all morning to send an email to a potential client because I was nervous about the amount of money I was asking for. Pretty sure this never happens to men.
