For anyone that hasn't seen FiveSquids it is a site that lets you both sell and buy your services for £5.

The real benefit for making money from this site is if you can offer a service which other people can't. This could be anything from making a logo to offering to advertise a site on your Blog to even an erotic short story for someone.

I think that before you offer any services or skills on this site that you should just spend £5 buying someone service to get a grasp on the site and how it works.

Once you arrive at the site you can either search for what it is you are after or browse through the various categories available. Some of the things on offer my go into a morally 'grey' area depending on your take on things. People offering to up your twitter count by 40,000+ people etc may well provide that service but at what cost? Lots of USA Egg accounts probably so do keep your wits about you when you are selecting what it is you want to buy.

Once you have selected it is important to checkout the feedback for that user. Too many thumbs down and you may want to stay away from them, no feedback at all and while they may provide a good service you may be taking a chance. It's at this point that I should point out that the actual site is very much on the side of buyers it seems. You can pay your £5 via PayPal and Fivesquids hold onto the money for 14 days before releasing it to the people you have bought the service/skill from to make sure you are happy with the work that was done. So just like eBay, feedback is everything when it comes to making your decision. It is also everything when it comes to being a seller on here as well as from looking at the different services on offer those with a lot of thumbs up are clearly well ranked and people keep using them over and over again.

Overall I think there is money to be made selling your skills on this site. If you are a good artist or good with understanding how Google ranks or have a decent Twitter following you can offer up to people you can make quite a nice amount of money here.

I agree! I've been on fivesquids a month and have already made fifty pounds. :)

The site is easy to use, easy to make money off and can become a sizable part of your income.

Wow what sort of service/skill have you been offering? Has it gone well for you and have you gained good feedback from doing it?

Do Fivesquids take a percentage of the money or a set fee?

I wish I had a skill to offer. I see that logo designs are a big hit with these type of sites. I don't have a creative bone in my body or the know how to offer something like that!

Making money out of twitter followers eh.

Better not show all those 1D fans out there this, some of those have got nearly 100k of fans following them that they could easily promote stuff to.

Really never knew there was any money to be made in social networks, shows what I know lol
