There might be a few people out there who have thought about it, but haven't yet given it a go. Whilst it's not for everyone, (if you have an addictive personality for example), for the majority it's a great way to make lots of easy money. To be more specific, it's a great way to make lots of easy money, Tax free!

I've been doing it for just under a year, and I'm closing in on £6,000 profit.

If you want to give it a go, my tips/hints would be

a) Sign up to one of the regular MB survey sites. I use Profit Accumulator, but there are others. PA costs £17 per month in the first year. Whilst you could do MB without one, it really isn't a good use of your time, plus you'll earn far more money as a site member.
b) Make sure that you use a separate email address for your betting company sign-ups. You don't want your usual email account to be swamped with betting company emails. Some people set up a separate bank account too. I don't, but you might want to.
c) Take your time, particularly with the first few bets, and each time you do a new type of bet. There's no race. Most of the sign up offers will still be there months down the line (I'm still on the last sign up offer on PA after nearly a year)
d) Make sure that you explain to your husband/wife/partner what you are doing. This is really not something to be done in secret.
e) Use the MB site forum to pose your questions if you're unsure-there will usually be someone helpful who can assist you.
f) Don't worry if you get 'gubbed' by any betting companies-it happens to everyone
g) Most importantly, use my referral code for Profit Accumulator-270844- lol! :)

£6000 is great going!

I always feel Matched Betting has a huge WHY DIDN'T I START THIS EARLIER! thing attached to it once you soon realise just how easy it is and how quickly you can make the money compared to any other way of online earning!!

Keep it up and you'll be over the £10k mark before you know it! Especially with Cheltenham coming up!

Yeah, last year's Cheltenham was a bit early for me to take full advantage of it. Hopefully that won't be the case this year!

Thanks guys I could do with some positive encouragement at the moment, only be going since November 2018 and was doing well, but because of other issues had to use 90% of my winnings on something else and now got very little left, so I guess onwards and up yep.
All the best to everyone for 2019..

I'm in the same boat as Max, I've somehow spread my pots a bit too thin and now have very little to play with, so I'm kind of stuck with the odd £30 here and the odd £30 there and not sure how to get back on course!

Is that lots of small 30 quids in different bookies/exchanges? You need to withdraw any unused funds and put it to work.

Thinking about what I'd do with a tiny bankroll:
- Hit all the no-deposit free spins offers, e.g Galacasino daily wheel, William Hill free spins, maybe Betfair Casino/Arcade sometimes have free spins.
- turn over the low hanging fruit offers: William Hill Super Odds Treble, Skybet weekend trebles, WH weekend scratch offer etc
- do the really small welcome bonuses. I.e. Coral, Ladbrokes. And turn your qualifying bets and free bets over as quickly as possible.

Good luck to everyone else. I am another newbie (we have had a couple of previous gos and not got the hang of it) and I feel that I am finally starting to get it, but really wish that I could do one bet offer at once to know where I am up to replenish my pot. I am quite often only making about 8 or 9 pounds per offer but guessing that is about right. Think its a case of slowly but surely.

I really want to get back into MB. I made £1k over about 3 months or so with initial sign up offers but then I hit a bit of wall. I couldn't get the hang of the Accas and seemed quite unlucky with most of the casino offers. I was only really covering my PA subscription so gave up.

What's stopping you from getting back into it

new daily reloads
horse refunds
accas (you just need to do a few and you will grasp them!)
2UP

+ all sorts of other bits and bobs

It's literally money for nothing but you HAVE to go in with a mindset that is all about l learning new stuff!

Well yesterday PA gave me 50% off rejoining fee for first month so think I'll give it a go. I do find you have to put quite a bit of time in to make the money but might go all out for a month and see how I do.

Think about it this way

The more you do it the quicker you get

Also no matter how slow you are (unless you are sloth level slow!) it's still higher paying that most other earning from home ops out there!

I am definitely 'sloth level' @Jon, ha ha :) and it isn't working out too well for me. Also, I am getting VERY frustrated with the OM Oddsmatcher - I signed up specifically to make it easier and quicker to find and put bets on but have found that recently I am still having to do manual searches as it is very slow at updating the correct bookie and exchange odds, despite me refreshing all the time :(

I did a £1 trial with PA again over Xmas to compare but unfortunately did not have the time to go into it thoroughly. I would imagine they would be similar results though, if their feeds are the same.

If anyone on here is on BOTH at the moment, I would really appreciate their findings to the comparisons :)

SORRY for the long post - oops!

They don’t both use the same oddsmatcher

PA made their own one I think about 2 years ago

I keep hearing that odd monkey is slightly better once you know what to do.

I reckon you can make enough to cover your sub on a weekend.

Not sure what the best way to help people, maybe a buddy system.

I know they are different matchers @Jon. I only had one brief test of them both, and inputting the same filter details, they did produce slightly different results. Did not really get a chance to check and compare the accuracy or speed though.

@Cas, I have wondered if there are such things as buddy systems myself, but doubt it as it would probably be difficult to arrange unfortunately.

The odds monkey odds checker is usually considered the better one. You won't get a much faster feed unless you pay £££ for professional software.

I suppose we could start one ourselves right , the buddy system.

aye is that not what the helplines that Oddsmonkey + Profit Accumulator etc are for, when people want some kind of hand-holding help beyond the offer instructions

This is the bit we were unsure of when we started but basically when you have done the trigger bet and free bets remove your money and use it in the exchange or the next welcome offer.
We have been MB for 12 days and have a profit of about £100. Also done a couple of cashback offers on bingo sites and was lucky with a jackpot win in a no wager bingohall - withdrew that right away!
