Hi, just a very quick question about matched betting on horse racing. If for your bet, you select a horse to sin. e.g

Revolutionist to win at York 16.15, what do you have to enter to do your laybet with Betfair or similar, ie. Revolutionist not to win. So far have only been betting on the Euro 2016 matches. Sorry for the silly question

If you bet on the horse you are laying at the exchange. So if you bet the horse to win at wherever then you bet for the horse not to win at the exchange.

If you're using Profit Accumulator their beginner videos should show you how to bet/lay.

[member=1558]OCTOPUS[/member] Yes, you back and lay the same horse.

If you're planning on using a free bet then proceed with caution - Revolutionist has quite high odds which is not advised when placing free bets as a general rule of thumb.

I thought you were supposed to place free bets at high odds to maximise profit? At least that's what it tells you to do on PA [member=2431]Uhhhhh[/member] ?

It's not good for your account if you place qualifiers/mugs at minimum odds and then free bets at very high all the time. It's a distinct MB pattern.

I generally use fbs on doubles/trebles for more value, but tbh you can make a good amount on odds of 4-5 anyway.

I agree with [member=2431]Uhhhhh[/member] you need to be careful with bookies. Stick to odds less than 5, don't do all offers they throw at you and defo mug bet on a regular basis. Also take time off from bookies too. All this should ensure you stay under the radar. :)
