Well i have to admit i was a little skeptical with how this was going to pan out but so far I am impressed. I had accounts with most major bookies prior to starting and a lot of online accounts. But I paid my £18 quid and thought well its £18 if i lose it I know it can be earned back easily. So far I am in profit by £22.19 and have pending £40 in free bets which should be around £30 return when they credit. So in my first few days £50 profit and this has been litterally 1 bet a day playing it very very safe. I would like to make enough by the end of this month to pay for the new computer and beautiful curved monitor I just bought (about £500) Just thought I would share this quick update.

Nice one! It's quite addictive, this free money lark, isn't it? :D
it is. I used to bet quite often for a little fun but realised i wasted so much money doing it. Now looking at it in a totally different way and seeing the value in it. It sometimes becomes tempting to have a flutter but I keep my mindset with this and the PA forum

I'm sometimes weak and 'half gamble' - mostly by picking teams/horses and hoping the lay odds will shorten closer to start time for an arb (or if a football match looks particularly 1 sided I might hold out for a 1st goal and lay afterwards to lock in). Tbh, I don't recommend it because as much as I tell myself I was prepared to gamble and lose in the first place, I still end up kicking myself when it loses and wishing I'd just MB it instead :p

I'd say if you want to have a flutter, do it on a little £1 acca or something, you still get to have a bit of gambling fun and on the off chance it comes in, you can still get a nice reward from it.

Looks nice and muggy too, so good for account health :)

There are tons of theories about mugging - only the bookies know which ones are good or not, LOL.

Oh, and regarding the acca's, if you make sure your last selection isn't clashing with something else (ie another football match in your bet), then if you're 4 out of 5 in you acca, you also still have the option to lock in if you fancy it - best of both worlds :)

Nobody is really sure what the mug requirements are but keeping a profile where you look like a regular punter seems to be the best strategy. So if you take lots of football offers, whack some similar sized bets on Man Utd or similar etc when there's no offer.

You don't need to worry until you move into the 'Reloads' section of the PA website. Get all the sign-ups done as fast as you can as that will really build your betting bank.

Then once you're doing ongoing offers you need to look like a normal punter. This is achieved by betting inplay, betting on high odds accas (can just do £1-2 at really high odds, over 50), betting on request-a-bets (RABs), and betting on big/televised games in the Premier League, also on any special offer or price boost you see on the homepage.

Don't bother mugging anything less than around 1.4 odds, no punter would bet on these odds on shots unless they were putting 1000s on... Man Utd at home for 1.5ish, Chelsea at home, etc... just a nice steady stream of bets every weekend that aren't connected to a free bet offer. Your account will stand out like a sore thumb if you only bet when there's an offer on.
