Hi I'm thinking about doing Matched Betting but after reading posts etc it seems as if it isn't as lucrative or as easy as it was a few years ago or even last year.
So is MB actually worth doing. It not only seems quite complicated but also looks like it takes a lot of time. I'm wanting to make £100 + a month is this the best way to do it or is there a better method?
Thanks.

Yes its still worth it. You will make FAR more than £100 a month from it for just a few minutes each time you do it!

nothing else pays as highly online + it is tax free ;)

Yeah £100 a month is childs play on MB; even if you are really selective/lazy and just do a handful of easy offers a week.

I'm not so sure. I only cleared £2,800 last month doing only reloads and casino offers, which seems hardly worth getting up in the morning for ....... :D

That's nuts! How much time do you spend on it and how big is your bankroll if you don't mind me asking?

That was an exceptional month (my best ever). February was £500. In 2 1/2 years I am averaging £1000 a month. I spend about 1hr a day doing it, except Saturdays where I probably spend 5 hours, but after a while you do get to an equilibrium that fits it in within the rest of your life. My exchanges usually have around £3k in them together. You can start with £50 as Jon did, but I had the chance to 'loan' myself £1k and that allowed me to kick start the process (and not have to extract all my winnings from the bookies) and I paid myself back that £1k at the end of month 4.

Do not rush things and fit everything into your budget and personal timescales, and the profits are still there to be had. Do not get downhearted by a 'bad' month. Many reloads these days do need luck to get the profits, and this does make it more variable than it used to be, and that is when people start complaining it isn't lucrative any more.

Yeah I went down your route but have taken a bit out since - been dipping into my MB funds rather than my savings when needed. Probably got about £600 between my exchanges and maybe £1k scattered around bookies!

Sounds like you need to swap those around and have the £1000 in the exchanges. Clearing out some of your lessor used bookmaker accounts will help you boost your exchange balance and get more bets on. Don't feel you have to leave money in the bookmaker accounts.
