So I've made a bit of a boob in that I have one last £20 bet to place on sportingbet signup offer for free £50 bet, but I came away on holiday yesterday and naively thought I'd pop the last bet on using my phone whilst sitting with a beer at the pool. I didn't even think about betting restrictions in other countries. I googled this and found a site which says to download VPN software (there's an app). Anyone used this before and did it work? I just want to finish this offer!!!

I use Safer VPN, which I can highly recommend - never had a problem, safe, always works, multiple countries etc. I pay for the yearly subscription as I'm based outside of the UK full-time, so I use it for other things (banking, bbciplayer, Netflix etc) too. However, they do a 24 hour free trial so if you find yourself needing to do a few bits whilst abroad then you can abuse the free trial
