Hi, so I am in England but I regularly use a non-UK VPN whilst I browse the internet.
I realized too late that this might be an issue, basically, after creating an account for both Coral and Betfair, I noticed in Betfair it said something about a promotion not being available in my country. Then I tried logging out, cleaning my history/cookies, turning VPN off and logging back on. Looked in the promotion section of my account and it says nothing about the free new customer bet.
Any suggestions?

Was wondering if it's worth to delete the accounts and create them again, or even message the companies. Not sure if either of those thing would help as they might mark me as suspicious in some way?

Thank you!

I think you should forget about the signup bet and try see if you get reloads . if you make another with the same details it likely they will shut down the account

Personally, I would go the feign ignorance route.

Make sure the VPN is off. Do live chat on Betfair and tell them you are getting this message and you don't understand because you are in the UK and your registered address is the UK as well. Do not talk about VPNs or give any impression you know what you are doing.

If you have to talk about the internet you could say the internet was down a short while before you tried registering and you registered soon after it came back on - this may help with them thinking the dodgy IP address is due to your supplier.
