My son is 9 so he can't get a regular bank debit card. Kids are growing up in a digital world where cash isnt always the best way to pay for the things they need.
Both me & his dad can too up his pocjet money seperatly as well as manage his account.
It costs £25 a year which is much cheaper than GoHenry. There's no cost to withdraw cash, use it contactless or make payments with the card number online. It has my son's name on it.
I love the fact that seperated family members have their own account to top up the childs pocket money & the child can choose to save or donate part of their money to charity in seperate pots.
You can opt for the child to do certain chores before the pocket money is released to their account too.
I'd recomend it to any parent wanting to educate their child on money & give them a little freedom to make purchases.

I did lots of research to find out which was the best option out of the few cards there are. This one came out top. Lots of features, still working out out which ones are the best to suit our family's chores and rewards. Helpful prompts in app, was easy to set up the basics for our accounts and weekly pocket money. Will involve grandparents and family so they can add to their account.

I'm so pleased I got this for my Son. During the Coronavirus he's been able to make purchases online. The family will also be adding money to it for his birthday rather than sending gifts this year.
