Is anyone else losing the motivation to keep making money online? I am seriously considering cutting back and giving up Appen despite being on one of the bigger long term projects. I find more and more that I have to be on the computer all the time checking for work in order to keep on the right side of minimum hours, and the time I can claim is not the time it has taken me to do the work. I feel a bit burnt out and fed up. Rant over!

It happens to everyone I would say

Burn out, especially in the “earning money online” world where there is no OFF SWITCH is very common.

when I was doing the social media rating for Lionbridge towards the last month or two I just hated doing it every day even though it took me only 10mins

same with web search evaluator work, it’s great money but at times it just felt like an entire bind to me!

if the money isn’t so important to you anymore then you can cool it, if it is then maybe it’s time to flip up the online work you do or perhaps create an income steam yourself that doesn’t require as much manual labour

half the reason I used to live work on apps like Roamler, bemyeye. Shopper etc was because you could just dip in and out of them with zero commitment so it might be that that sort of work suits you better!

Thanks for the reply. I suspect you did the same project as I am on, I am coming up to two years on it and it does feel like a bind! I need to do some hard thinking. I have always used a large part of my earnings to invest in passive income streams, but I have never dipped into them, maybe it's time to do that! I am not getting any younger!

I would also say it is the summer when it’s warmer outside and so who the hell Wants to be certain size using the computer.

The drive for me is usually Christmas followed by I have no money because of Christmas so I find for September to March I’m usually working harder on all things money making .

I would take a break and just spend time doing what you really enjoy, a change of scenery would be good for you.

Slowly you will get back to making money again and that buzz will be rediscovered.
